Lots of things to see and lots of fun. I learned a lot and would recommend this to anyone over 16. This is the age cut-off for any Disney Tour.

We previously did two backstage tours at Disney World: Undiscovered Future World and Behind the Seeds at Epcot. We really enjoyed both of those tours and were hoping this would be a similar experience. While Backstage Magic was good, it did not live up to our expectations.

Others have already mentioned what you get to see in this tour: American Adventure in Epcot, costuming and Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios, Horticulture, parade warehouse at Animal Kingdom, Central Shops, and Main Street USA utilidoor at Magic Kingdom. It sounds like a lot, and it does have some variety. However, you generally don't get to see very much backstage, and our guides rushed us through the backstage areas.

One big problem was that there were so many people in our group. There were more than 30 people on the tour, and it was a slow process to move people around. We spent a lot of time on the bus or in public areas. The tour guides were good and shared some of their experiences with us, but they didn't really have much of a personal connection with anything we saw. When we did Undiscovered Future World at Epcot our tour guide had deep knowledge of the park from having worked there for years, stopped and chatted with many cast members and park management along the way, and took us to more backstage areas in only a few hours. This tour was run by guides from the Disney Institute who did not have strong connections to any of the parks, and we didn't spent very much time backstage.

Lunch at Whispering Canyon was good. It was perhaps the highlight of the day. Given the cost of this tour, we expected to see more backstage areas. The tour was good, but it was not good enough to justify the cost and the amount of time required to complete the tour.

For any die hard Disney Fan this will give you a glimps of the backstage as well as the rides whithout giving to much of the "Magic" away. Great lunch you get to cut all the cue lines you can assk all the questions you want. The guise gives you a head set so you cann here them just fine. Our guide Melanie is such a delight. She had a bubbly personality and the perfect all amarican blond Disney proud employee. Very knowledgable. Disney is lucky to have her and my goodness her little jokes were to die for. Great day so worth every penny. Must do

This tour was pretty good but I was a little disappointed that we didn't get to hear/see more "secrets" than we were shown. We saw very little of the Utilidors at Magic Kingdom. We basically were walked in a circle around one little part. We did get to see the parade vehicles for the Animal Kingdom parade while they were being serviced and learned how the majority of them were used. We learned some interesting facts about the buildings at Epcot in the world section and got to go backstage of the President show. We were walked through the costume shop at Hollywood Studios and behind the Tower of Terror. We also got to see where they make the topiaries used during the Flower and Garden Festival. There was a lot of getting on and off the bus but they did provide bottled water. We also got to see a huge warehouse type of building where they repair all the cars, etc for rides. You were not permitted to take pictures during the majority of this tour. We also had lunch at the Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge which was a highlight. All in all, I am glad we tried this tour but I was expecting to learn more secrets about Disney.

Went on the tour on a cloudy day, perfect. Hosts couldn't have been greater. Good lunch at wilderness lodge. Could have shown us more for the money, but very enjoyable.
