Owner description: "Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, one of 2 Water Parks in Walt Disney World Resort, features one of the world's tallest and fastest free-falling waterslides, as well as slides and rides for the whole family—like a kid-sized, snow-castle fountain play area with scaled-down versions of the more thrilling attractions. It's easy to be cool while having fun in the sun at Disney's Blizzard Beach water park! While the park looks like a frosty ski resort—complete with a functioning Chair Lift, it's actually an action-packed water wonderland with exciting waterslides and attractions for the whole family.

“Perfect with kids”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2010

Blizzard Beach saved our vacation.
We had passes to Disney World that covered all parks. The kids (ages 2 and 4) were overwhelmed in other parks. It was so crowded.
But both kids LOVED Blizzard Beach. The lines were much shorter, and the park did not feel that crowded.
The park has attractions for ALL ages! The entire family was able to have fun and relax.
They offer a large insulated mug for fixed price that can be filled with soft drinks and lemonade all day long. Well worth the cost to have ice cold lemonade all day long :) The locations to fill the mug are all throughout the park.

“Full Work-out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2010

If you're an activity person then Disney Blizzard Beach is the perfect place for you. There are plenty of family rides and height restriction is limited. Don't forget to take water shoes because the ground gets very slippery; my 68 years-old mother-in-law fell flat on her back between rides. Its not necessary for you to bring a camera because there's a photographer at every attraction, and the website to retrieve your pictures is easily accessible. Your day will involve plenty of walking and stair-climbing. If eventually you become tired there is a fabulous ski lift that takes you to the top of the mountain that leads into two fantastic rides. Must try the delicious donuts and its even better with beer. The admission price is worth it. I definitely recommend going to Disney Blizzard Beach.

They have short slides for my young child. The only thing is that they closed at 5 pm when we were there last September 2010 and we were not told when we bought the tickets and arrived there after 12 noon.

“Perfect way to spend a hot sunny day! Better than Typhoon Lagoon.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2010

We went here about 2 weeks after Typhoon Lagoon and I say Blizzard Beach is 10 times better! The only thing better at Typhoon Lagoon was the awesome wave pool. Blizzard Beach has a joke of a wave pool. Not sure how they can get away with calling it a wave pool The lazy river is boring and not relaxing as it was so crowded and loud with kids screaming and pushing. The rides are fantastic. Much more wild and longer than Typhoon. Some of the lines were really long.. about 30 minutes, while other were almost nonexistent. Overall it a great park and I highly recommend it. BUY THE TICKETS FROM AN ONLINE BROKER NOT AT THE GATE. MUCH CHEAPER!!!!

“Blizzard Beach-Long Lines”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2010

Blizzard Beach will not disappoint as it is clean, well-maintained and has lots of shady areas for those attempting to avoid the hot Florida sun. While the three teens in our party loved Summit Plummet and Slush Gusher, they didn't enjoy the long lines and they thought the waves in Melt-Away Bay were a little too small for teens aged 13, 16 & 16.
