Probably not my favorite water park in Orlando but its definitely in the top 3. I don't know what the other reviews say but this probably isn't the park that you want to take small children to if you want to get on all the slides. If you're child is 48in. you're in the clear. They can get on everything. The park has it usual. Be prepared for a workout to get to the slides though.

“Fun waterpark!”
Reviewed June 8, 2014

We had a really fun time at this waterpark! The "toboggan" rides were the best. It was a nice break from climbing up stairs to be able to take the chairlift to the top of the "slopes". We would definitely visit again!

“Great fun!”
Reviewed June 8, 2014

If you want the Disney experience don't forget to go to Blizzard Beach. Winter in 30 degree heat. It was brilliant - now I am not a petite lady and I was a little apprehensive about bearing any degree of flesh - but to be honest, get yourself a good swimming costume and no one cares as you're just having such great fun!! There are some rides that were a definite no, such as the Summit Plummet, which I refused to let my nine year old on - near vertical drop! Also take the cable car up to the top of the moutain for several of the rides, walking is a killer - especially in the heat, but it does keep you fit!! We loved all the family rides - if you are a little nervous make sure you don't go down backwards. Also for the Team Boat Springs make sure you are in a party of more than 2, it says on the sign and on the leaflets up to six riders, but what it doesn't tell you until you reach the top is that you need more than 4 people - there is normally someone to share the ride with though. Food was great as always - equipped to sort my daughters food allergies - Disney are great at this!! They really think of everyone.
Great areas for different ages. My daughter loved the obstacle course with swinging ropes and floating icebergs! If you don't fancy the water you can lounge on the beach - but hey, that's not what you've paid your money for!!! The Cross Country Creek is great to get your heart rate back to normal.
Lockers are available for a deposit, definitely needed. And showers and changing facilities do the job. We had a great day, finished it off by playing Crazy Golf just outside the entrance - great fun!

“You won't be left cold by Blizzard Beach!”
Reviewed June 8, 2014

Out of the two Disney Waterparks, I've got to be honest, I prefer Typhoon Lagoon, but Blizzard Beach still offers a great day out for all the family.
There's a ride for everyone, and they cater for the whole family. I personally don't think you can beat the lazy river. I'd spend all day just floating round.
There are plenty of lifeguards too so you can rest assured that you are in safe hands.
Plenty of places to eat, get icecream (make sure you try a Mickey Premium Bar - heaven!) and sit, if you want to rest your weary legs, this is the park to go and relax in.
