this really was not for us.. most of the water slides were extreme and not child friendly. not a really good place for families, the stairs to rides were very long and tall and exhausting.

I'll take relaxation thank you. Which is not to say that Blizzard Beach isn't also exiting, but it isn't as big as Typhoon Lagoon, nor does it have the same giant-wave pool, or as many water slides. That means that it isn't as crowded either. In addition, there is considerably more shade at Blizzard Beach, even quite close to its wave pool, making it much more comfortable. The food offerings at both parks are pretty much identical.

Nice Water park, we enjoy the lazy river there. We are annual pass holders, The gondola is always crowded, wave pool is kinda cool. Food is very expensive and not very tasteful. Do yourself a favor, Bring your own snacks, plan on the mornings as it is least crowded, and plan on no more than a 1/2 day visit. You will have lots of fun, and when will avoid long lines, and expensive food.

This is just pure wet fun for those hot summer days in central Florida. Some tips--keep personal belongings to a minimum-- you won't be spending much time at your chair to "guard" your things. Bring a waterproof satchel for your sunscreen towel and Disney pass. That's all you need for a day of chillaxin Disney style!

This waterpark has more/better rides than typhoon lagoon but i still prefer typoon lagoon as it has nice facilities where as blizzard beach is more ride focused.

Still a great facility and worth the trip!
