Owner description: "Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, one of 2 Water Parks in Walt Disney World Resort, features one of the world's tallest and fastest free-falling waterslides, as well as slides and rides for the whole family—like a kid-sized, snow-castle fountain play area with scaled-down versions of the more thrilling attractions.

As a mixed group from 5 years to 75 years we found fun for everyone! The park is designed in zones - and in each "zone" is a slide for each level - so the thrill speaking teenagers could go on one and the 5 year old and I could go on the other! Grandma sat in the shade on the beach under the trees and had a very relaxing day catching up on some reading. The lazy river took us round very slowly and the lifeguards sitting on the side were ready to chat with you as you went by. Highly recommend and a much better day out than Wet and Wild just from the perspective of the whole landscaping, ambience and comfort. If there is a big group of you hire one of the cabana areas for the day - you have a roped off space in the trees, chairs and tables and a safe to lock things away.

Loved this waterpark. Big water rides and also some gentler ones as well. Admission reasonable and parking was free. Food and drinks we a tad expensive but aren't they always at theme parks! Wear some sort of flip flops / crocs as concrete pathways can get very hot!

Plenty for everyone to do at blizzard beach, make sure you wear sandals or flip flops as the ground gets roasting.

After several trips to WDW we decided to try a water park for something different. We are mad we never did it until this trip. It was great. Our kids loved it. We rented a Polar Patio and although it was expensive, it was worth having a shaded, stocked area as our home base and very convenient to be able to order foods and drinks delivered by our attendant. Hitting one of the water parks is a must do, we won't leave it out of our next trip.
