Owner description: "Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, one of 2 Water Parks in Walt Disney World Resort, features one of the world's tallest and fastest free-falling waterslides, as well as slides and rides for the whole family—like a kid-sized, snow-castle fountain play area with scaled-down versions of the more thrilling attractions.

We love both the water parks and dont think theres much to choose between them. Lovely and clean with a good selection of slides/rides. Makes a nice change from the parks - well worth a visit.

We finally got a chance to check out Blizzard Beach on our last trip to Disney. It was an amazing day!

We rented a Polar Patio for the day and it was wonderful. There were 11 of us - 3 adults and 5 kids (12,9,7,4,2) -and there was room for everybody. The patios include a souvenier drink mug for everyone, a locker for valuables and a cooler filled with bottled water. You could get unlimited refills on the water and soda throughout the day. The best part was the friendly staff. The catered to your every need! As soon as you came back to the patio they were asking what they could get you. They take your lunch order whenever you are ready and bring it all to you to eat in the patio. Lunch isn't included, but they take your dining plan or money. Towels are brought to you as well.

The pools and slides are incredible! All age groups will be in heaven! The water was a bit chilly because it had just rained 7 inches the few days before, but the kids didn't even notice. The lazy river seemed to have the coolest water.

The family raft ride was so much fun! At the end there is a giant Mickey head made out of a raft if you happen to have your camera. The ski lift up the mountain is a bit scary if you're afraid of heights. We rode it once with the kids and the adults were more nervous than the kids. After one ride we just took the stairs.

We didn't do the big summit plummit ride because we're all chickens, but it looked like everyone was having fun! There were so many fun slides the kids loved them all. The teen area was also great fun and we spent some time there with all the kids. The toddler/little kid pool water was very warm and they had a lot of fun slides there as well.

The only bad thing I could say about Blizzard Beach is we had to leave too soon! If you go plan to stay from open to close because there is so much to see and do. It would be hard to make this park a half day. I would also not recommend doing BB on a day when you have a big night at the parks planned- the kids will be worn out from all the walking and swimming!

The day we went to Blizzard Beach the weather was cloudy so the lines were not as long which was great. We were lucky that we decided to go on Summit Plummit late morning and were able to go on the chair lift because for some reason it was closed in the afternoon. We had lunch at Lottawatta Lodge which was good. We had the dinning plan but the prices are still reasonable if you would have to pay for food.We had a lot of fun but my advice would be to get there early in the morning and go on the slides and just enjoy the wave pool in the afternoon as the lines get long for slides in the afternoon.

The weather the day we went was a little cloudy. The pool hence was a tad cool. The rides for my 7year old daughter were just enough for a not so water babe.

Give yourself time to get a beach seat - it can be very busy

A great place to escape from the parks and relax, but there are many attractions here and you would probably want more than once, so a half day each time is appropriate
