“Typhoon Lagoon makes a BIG splash”
Reviewed April 2, 2014

I Love this water park. Personally I like the tropical feel here more than the whole "blizzard" concept. Also the wave pool's a blast for all ages. The lazy river ride is really long and loads of fun. In fact, all the rides are fun, and they have a great kiddie area. There are some good food options, good cocktails too. You just need to arrive early in the day to get the most out of your time here. As with all things Disney, when it starts to fill up in late morning you may not get a great chair and will have long lines for the water rides. Get there early and enjoy your pick of spots and minimal waiting for a couple hours. Lockers are a good bet for your valuables, too.

“Fun!”
Reviewed April 2, 2014

I go back to Florida with my family every year. We stay about 5 to 6 weeks every winter. Typhoon Water park in our opinion is the best!!!! It has the biggest waves for a wave pool I have ever seen. My 4 and 7 year old could do almost every slide in the park. I think the 4 year old had to for go a couple. But life jackets are available at the park as well. I could say a lot more.
But you have to go here if you like water!!!! I would go back over and over every year if I could.

“Beautiful as Disney would be expected. But lots of thong!”
Reviewed April 1, 2014

The park is built beautifully. Well worth seeing. It closed a little early 5 pm and why does Walt Disney allow all the thongs in the park. Fat butts and sexually explicit. Kinda kills the family thing. I guess they are trying to be like Europeans Ashamed of American culture? Very dumb

“Awesome wave pool”
Reviewed April 1, 2014

The wave pool is the highlight, I was there with a pre-schooler and it was just too much for her, she loved it but it was a real struggle keeping hold of her lifejacket while being bowled over myself. The surface of the pool is like sandpaper so expect some grazes.

The have swim thru aquarium, not as good as Discovery cove, but they do let you in with the sharks.

There is an area for toddlers with little slides and one family raft slide, but overall, for a pre-schooler Blizzard beach is far better.
