Highlights were that you can Snorkel at shark reef. Beware as there are sharks in the pool. It's really short, just one length of the pool then you are done. The wave machine is cool and creates a huge wave, so keep little kids with you closer to shore. Especially if its crowded, the wave really throws people around, and it can be pretty dangerous. My family enjoyed the slides at Blizzard Beach more.

Most of the day that we were at Typhoon Lagoon, it rained. On the bright side, there weren't that many people there. We got right on the slides that we wanted to go on and had a great time. It was a nice alternative to the hot, crowded parks.

Loved this waterpark. Had to get there early to get a sunbed. Some of the queues were quite long but they were worth it. Food was nice.

Watch out for the school tour parties!! We went early, left stuff on our sun beds and went to enjoy the attractions. When we got back, not only had our stuff been moved but we the few beds they'd lef alone we couldn't get to cos so many other beds had been squeezed in. They then proceeded to play volleyball over us! Wise up Disney ... Put tours in a separate area!! We had to leave after only 2 hours and I will never be back.

We went here as a family with teens. We did not think gangplank falls was worth the wait but the park is otherwise excellent. Crush n gusher is the best- we did all 3 tracks. The castaway creek lazy river ride is a great way to get to other rides in a more relaxed way. The wave pool is good but there is a rough floor and watch out for people in front being swept onto you as the wave approaches! Snorkelling is great fun but breathing through my mouth makes me feel a but panicky whilst looking down into a bottomless pool so breathe slowly when doing it. seeing the tropical fish is amazing. Great fun and less intense than the other Disney parks. Lockers cost $13 with$5 refund, $10.75 for refillable mug and photo ID for life vest rental. Remember you can bring your own drinks (no glass) and don't forget sunscreen! Also if there is thunder and lightning the park will shut. You are best to visit early in morning to avoid this.
