“Great Water Park”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

This is brilliant. Somethin for everyone no matter what age. I am not a great swimmer but floating round on a dinghy on the lazy river was so relaxing. We had lunch there which was great. Towel hire and life vests for kiddies are all available and lifeguards everywhere you look. Very safety conscious.

“Nice, Clean water park”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

Park is nice, much cleaner than others I've visited. No parking fee and low price annual passes make it well worth the $!

“The kids loved it but the adults were less impressed.”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

There were 13 people in our group of which seven were kids between the ages of 5-10yrs. old.

The kids loved the big waves in the pool, but 2 people in our group did get multiple cuts from the rough, sand paper like pool bottom. They both were bleeding & had go get mulitple band-aids.

I was annoyed that very few of the food booths were actually open so there were long line ups because everyone was being funnelled to the main food stand.

Each booth that was open only offers limited items & not everything listed on the menu board were actually available so you have to stand in multiple long line-ups to get food for everyone.

Of course you don't know the menu items are not available until you have waited in line & are trying to order & only then are you are informed that item is not available at the booth & that you have to walk to the main food place by the main entrance & stand in another long line-up.

In my opinion if a menu items is unavailable there should be a sign posted or the item on the menu board should be covered by a piece of tape so that you can see it is unavailable & you don't waste your time waiting in line.

The food quality was extremely poor. We bought chicken wraps that had absolutely no flavor/taste to them at all.

The snorkelling with the sharks was a big let down. There were hardly any fish, rays, or sharks only a mere handful in total. It was very disappointing especially when you compare it to the awesome snorkelling at Discovery Cove grand reef.

Besides not having many fish, the other viewing option the sunk submarine's windows were covered in green algae so you could barely see out which was not great for the younger kids who wanted to see the sharks.

One of the kids (10 yrs. old) tried to snorkel with the sharks but could not stand the strong smell & taste of the disinfectant the snorkels are soaked in so he left the reef.

The kids liked the waves, water slides & lazy river, but I don't think I would return. We could go to: Wet n wild, Aquatica, or back to Discovery cove & have more fun, get better food, better service, & not get cut up.
