Great place to photograph birds, they like to nest in the spring around alligator ponds to protect their young from racoons. The grounds are neat and clean and the gators are always a treat.

Visited this park as a kid, and had to take my own kids there. GREAT place. NOT too expensive, as you have options to how much your entrance is, there are groupons, and discount coupons at most hotels.
First of all, we did not use these discounts and the price was still great. They were going around that day advising they were discounting ziplining to $25.00/person and we took advantage of that. GREAT SUPER AMAZING GUIDES. Had a ton of fun, in a unique, exciting zipling experience (i am afraid of heights so it takes lot for me to say this). We zipped over gators, heard history, got great pictures to prove it and absolutely highlight of our trip.
the food prices are good, the shows are GREAT and fun times for all ages.

Reminds me of old Florida from years ago. Full admission is a bit high, but look for coupon- aaa discount, FL residence, etc. Staff was very friendly. Swamp walk is quiet and pleasant, train ride($) is not worth the extra charge. Didn't try the zip line, but it looks like fun, maybe next time($69). Great way to kill 3 hours in Orlando.

A really different florida park. Take swimming gear for the kids as they have a small water park area. Good shows and good people. We got caught in a thunderstorm and still had a good time. Only gripe was that food was a little expensive.

If you've done everything in Orlando and are looking to see some other things that are off the beaten path and away from all the pixie dust this is definitely something to check out. It's a short drive from all of the main attractions in Orlando and you'll get to see a lot of different animals and definitely a ton of gators!
