Wow - where do you start with such a great place. I'd read the reviews and thought it was too good to be true so i took my wife and son there to see for myself. Right from start the staff were friendly helpful and informative. They offered us the Alligator feeding experience ($10 per person). Its not to be missed as you get about 6 feet from the real thing - you don't get that in the UK ! We were given a park map by the lady on the admissions desk whilst she made jokes with my 7 year old boy and then showed us into the park. From the start your senses are overloaded with pools of Alligators ! Once you draw yourself away from the entrance there is plenty to keep you busy. 3 shows - Jumping alligators, wresting alligators and a mystery animal show repeated twice a day lasting about 15 - 20 minutes is a good way to begin the day.

After that visit the small bird house where a dollar buys you a food stick and you will not be disappointed with the results. There is a White Alligator area, swamp walk, water play area and the ZIP wire area which navigates around the park. Even if its raining you wont get too wet as much is under cover, except the swamp walks, zip wire and feeding areas.

We spent 5 hours there and it was worth every cent. I spoke to Bridgette, the manageress, on the way out promised to give a good review - well here it is - it really is worth the 4500 mile trip to Orlando and well worth a visit to Gatorland - we will go back.

Our family (ages 8 and up) toured Gatorland on 11/11/12. It was a great learning experience for all. The children even had their photos taken sitting on a live alligator (with its mouth taped shut). Everyone was very impresssed with the all white alligators. Many of the adults in our group had been to Gatorland before but wanted to show the children the educational part of it. Admission is very reasonable and they have a nice gift shop as you exit.

Tons of gators here. The shows are good fun and the guys that do it are very good. Shuts fairly early so be sure to get there just after lunch for a few hours in the afternoon. Looked like there was a cute kiddies waterpark with fountains etc but too chilly for that when we were there. Nice walks on the special laid tracks and views of the attraction from the pagoda buildings on site.

i loved gatorland! i went to orlando for a wedding and didn't want to pay the insane amount of $$ to visit disney or sea world. so we decided to check out gatorland. it was really fun and entertaining... great shows (gator feeding, up close encounters, gator wrestlings) and lots of other animals to see too (birds, snakes, turtles, cattle, crocs). they also had a swamp walk, observation tower, and train.

We loved Gatorland. If you are a senior there is a nice discount, the rest of our group used a coupon printed on Gatorland's website to save a little. We arrived about 1pm and the park was closing at 5pm that day. We were able to do everything and see all the shows but did not have time to zipline. I would recommend 5 hours to not be rushed. We appreciated how nice and clean the park was. The staff was knowledgable and friendly. The park was not crowded at all the day we were there (Nov 2nd) and it was nice to just stroll around and see all the sights. Of course this is not an over the top Disney-type experience but you are also not paying an over the top price either. My son is 11 and having his photo with a gator and a huge snake were priceless for him.
