We enjoyed our stay in this house. It had good facilities and was very comfortable. The pool was great to relax in after a day out at the parks. The journey to the parks involved a lot of traffic on the I4 motorway but I guess that's due to the popularity of the area.
The villa is in a wonderful spot for Disney, just off Championsgate and the I4 in a quiet gated community, with the villa not overlooked at the back and able to have all round sun on the back with it being south facing, it was fantastic! It was lovely to see the air balloons drifting towards the back of the villa from the distant, first thing in the morning.
Linda, the owner, was quick to respond to queries and forthcoming with info on the villa, not that we needed much, as it's our 7th trip to Orlando, so we know the rental market reasonably well, including what to expect.
The villa was clean with plenty of crockery and utensils. The washer and dryer worked well and the washing fabric capsule was a nice touch to find before we went grocery shopping. TVs worked well, as did the wifi and the cooker plus microwave, although it was unusual for us to find a kettle for the cooker hob, instead of an electric kettle at the villa. It wasn't a problem though. The fridge freezer was large and made ice too if you needed it. The dishwasher had a spare tablet left for us to use, thanks Linda for this.
There was a hairdryer there for use too, which was ideal, given my wife couldn't get much speed out of our UK one! There were plenty of towels and spare pillows to use and a reasonable supply of coat hangers too.
The games room had a pool table and air hockey, which were level and worked well.
As we have visited a few villas, there are a couple of areas that we would suggest may help those staying in the future:-
- curtains as well as the present vertical blinds would be useful, especially upstairs, as one bedroom is next to a street light, that shines into the room and the vertical blinds do not darken the room.
- The pool base could do with a lick of paint in a couple of places, purely cosmetic in all fairness, as it was great to use, no flaking, just discoloured. The pool is deep at one end and shallow at the jacuzzi end.
- Some clearer instructions on the patio door alarms on how they work, as we set it off on arrival and couldn't work out how to turn them off for a while. Also, one of alarm deactivation buttons works intermittently.
The above were not a detraction from our stay, just merely observations to make rental stay a little better.
The bottom line is, would we stay again, yes, without a doubt, good value and a super villa.
excellent big house. very quiet gated community-probably 50% full time residents,. great pool area. very good and 2 en suite bedrooms a bonus. the house in general is what you get for a rental home but don't let this put you off-you cannot expect a place like your home. I am only being picky here. advice- try not to shop at publix-very expensive. get a list and go to walmart. also bring change for the initial tolls and join sunpass
This is a lovely villa; easy to find and in a quiet neighbourhood. It is close to all Disney parks and is just as appealing as the photos. It is light and airy and is a calm peaceful retreat after a hot, busy day in the parks. It is clean and the beds were comfortable with the bed in the master being massive. The outside area is lovely for relaxing around the pool which is a good size and there is a lovely area with table and chairs for outdoor dining and sun beds for relaxing in. We loved our stay here and loved having lazy days round the pool or enjoying coming back to it after a busy day out.
We had a great time at the dream house this past week it was a great size and had tons of natural light. We will definitely be renting this house agian!!!
