The service was not the fastest but we were there at a very busy time. The staff was patient and helpful and accommodating. The food was very good and I think it was overall a great value for the $.

We took the tripadvisor advice from others and tried Pollos Pio Pio.

It was the right choice. We were seated quickly, treated well, served fast and the food was INCREDIBLE. Order the whole chicken, you won't be disappointed.

If you're on a vacation to see the local theme parks and attractions, this is a really fairly priced place to eat on a vacation budget.

The restaurant filled up quickly, but they made room for everyone coming with minimal waits.

We visited Pio Pio while on spring break in Orlando with our 2 kids (3&7). The food was authenticate but left me wanting. My wife liked the Plantains. Note - this is a small local place - so if you are looking from a break from the chains it is a good choice. I may have been expecting too much :(.

We came to PIO PIO with another family on the recommendation of family members who live in Orlando. Yes, its a bit sketchy on the outside but don't let that sway you at all. We were NOT disappointed with our experience. We ordered the chicharrones (fried pork skins) and the Yuca and they were both delicious. The sauces that they provide are out of this world. (I asked for my own - since I didn't want to share). We ordered the skirt steak which was yummy and the rotisserie chicken was good but I thought it could have used a bit more flavor. The saffron rice was perfectly cooked and the empanadas were wonderful. We cannot wait to go back next time - this will be a staple place for us when we visit Orlando again. One last thing - the service was impeccable.

had dinner here--get there early, as it got slammed just five minutes after we pulled in (sunday @ 5pm). the food had tons of authentic flavour, and you cannot beat the prices for the massive portions that they throw down. it's a bit hectic for families with young children, but we did see kids there younger than our daughter, so it must have been an okay experience for them as well. don't expect fine dining, but if you like food from the americas and the islands, you will enjoy pio pio.
