After Magic Kingdom and Disney Studios, Animal Kingdom is the third Disney Park we have visited in Orlando.
The park offers great entertainment for kids and a one of a kind experience with the Kilimanjaro Safari. I've been to South Africa, Kenya and Tanzania and it is amazing what Disney has been able to recreate in Orlando.
We will return.

This park contains an excellent variety of educational, entertaining and fun things for all.
The Serengeti tour is live, and always different. The wide variety of animals wandering around is superb.
The walks through different animal displays are educational and entertaining. The ride are great fun, with Mt Everest being awesome!
Our favorite place to eat is Tusker House. Great buffet! Not the usual items. All well prepared.
Enjoy this experience!

Loved the safari tour, Lion King was GREAT, Bugs World was so cute, petting zoo was fun for grandson. We enjoyed it most of all the parks, not too crowded.

My family has been spoiled by going to Disney parks in the low season. This year was no different. We enjoyed the Animal Kingdom on a day with Extra Magic Hours and were there at opening. Within 80 minutes of walking in the gate, we had ridden Expedition Everest 5 times, Primeval Whirl once, and DINOSAUR once. All three were essentially walk-on. We could have kept going with multiple rides in short order, but after these three in such quick succession and repeats, my husband and I agreed that our inner ears and bellies needed a break from the action. The Lion King show in its new pavilion was largely unchanged, and there were a fair number of animals out and about early on Kilimanjaro Safari. Not so much on the walking trails through. That was a little disappointing. One of the treats this time around was lunch at Tusker House, which I think is probably one of the top 2 or 3 Disney buffet options. I love just walking around and looking at the architectural details and taking in the atmosphere here, hopefully on another trip without ride-crazy-easily-bored teenagers I will be able to spend more time here just enjoying the scene and trying out other dining and snack options.

One Tip: get a poncho or bring a change of clothes to stash in a locker if you are going to ride Kali rapids... we had to wring out everything down to our underwear after this one. :)

Love it!!! but there are a lot of hills! You really feel like you are in another part of the world. Just so many hills. My wife is disabled she walks with a cane and always has a hard time walking around DAK. I would recommend a ECV for any one who might have time with lots of hills if you are going to be there all day.
