You have certain expectations at a Disney Resort and this kind of fell flat. We waited in long lines (75 min) to get on the Safari Ride which was a total disappointment. It was very quick, with signs saying that when they were very busy there would be no stopping for photos. If they did spot an animal they just pointed far away and kept going. Never say a lion, tiger or bear. A bit of a downer for someone who DOESN'T enjoy fast upside down rides.

We went straight to the Fast Pass kiosk and there is someone always there to help you. The Everest roller coaster and Kilimanjaro Safari are "must do." There is also a water rapid ride to do and you will get wet. They keep saying it's not a zoo but it's a theme park with an animal focus. The animals are a great attraction but some were "no shows" walking through the exhibits, which will always happen, but the habitats are beautiful and very natural looking for the animals.
As always, you can bring food and drink in but don't leave without having a jalapeno and cheese pretzel, yum! Wear comfortable shoes, as usual, lots of walking to do. If you don't get Fast Passes for the good rides, lots of waiting and standing, also.

Animal Kingdom is my favorite Disney park! It's lush, green, and beautiful; every time I go, I walk around the Oasis and Discovery Island thinking, "I can't believe this is a theme park." A lot of people dislike it, but we are huge fans. If you like animals and nature, y enjoy this amazing slice of nature in the midst of Orlando's theme park craziness.

Maybe I'm being a bit harsh to Animal Kingdom but there were not loads of rides or animals here. You will not need a whole day here that being said the Everest coaster is will worth going on, one of disney's best rides to date.
The animals are dotted around everywhere, and the safari ride goes way to fast so you will struggle to take any good pictures.

Animal Kingdom is the newest and the smallest Disney theme park. If there are small lines, and if you arrive early, you can visit the entire park in just one morning.

Here you will find the Everest roller-coaster, the Bug's Live 3D show, the safari, the Dinosaur Tour and the Finding Nemo Musical. They are all great attractions. You can also find some other shows, as a bird's presentation.

What I really like about this park is the scenarios! Near Everest, you can truly feel as if you were in that typical Himalaya's towns! Very cool!

And you can lunch at Rainforest Cafe! Don't forget to ask for the Volcano dessert!
