Wonderful!! First thing when you arrive early, go in the Safari. Then, take the fast track in the Everest and ride the others afterwards...

The visit was great. Everest & Rapids stand out.
The safari was better than that at Busch Gardens!
Great music at Africa!

Animal Kingdom is great if your focus is not on riding the big ride. The safari ride is a wonderful opportunity to see many animals that will most likely not be found in the wild in another generation. Likewise, don't miss the walks in Africa and Asia and elsewhere that provide the opportunity to see gorillas and tigers on an up close basis. It is too easy to get caught up in the frenzy of shopping and running after different rides. This can be a wonderful different experience for those willing to stray from the crowds. Speaking of crowds, the new Nemo show is wonderful and truly worth braving any crowds.

This park is like visiting an aquarium, zoo and theme park at the same time. Make sure to ride the Safari ride in the morning before the animals take shelter from the afternoon heat. Expedition Everest is a must do for any rollercoaster lover. Plan on taking a full day to see all of the animals and shows available. Make sure to drink a lot of water to stay hydrated.

We visited Disney Animal Kingdom while in Orlando July 20 2013

Disney has done an excellent job show casing the animals and providing exciting things for children to do and see but the problem was it was just to hot I would recommend this attraction to anyone with kids who are fascinated by dinosaurs and animals but be sure to visit in the winter months the July heat was close to unbearable

on a positive note they had water and cold icicles for sale at every turn as to be expected Disney parks are expensive but u get what u pay for and this park offers a lot, rides, games, shows and even a safari with real animals
