“Totally Awesome!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2012 via mobile

Bought as fathers day gift for husband. He had the 3 lap ride-along experience.
He says everyone must do this, is worth every penny! Loved the speed, driving so close to the wall. Fantastic thing to do!
Bought the photo plaque, $35, cheap souvenir.

From spectators point of view, very good. We're able to take photos of event, getting changed into jumpsuit, which was amusing. Viewing area right next to pits top. Can easily view your family member getting ready, climbing in and out! So great for taking own pics. Very quick, obviously, so set that camera to sports setting!

Staff very nice, courteous. No hard sell on merchandise, which is nice.

Would Definately recommend this. Arrive early, as first come fisrt served basis. Only took 45 mins from arrival time, to finish, so can easily be fitted in before Magic Kingdom visit.

“Loved it”

I did not think it was going to the ride that it was. It was awesome. My husband loved that at the end of the ride was a show room full of cars. He was like a kid in a candy store.

“Thrills and Spills”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 12, 2012

My overall take on the experience - if you're a law-abiding driver who drives 65 on the freeway and want to experience the thrill of going at 120, this would be a thrilling albeit expensive experience. If you are a relatively fast driver and would like to get close to your limits, you'll be disappointed ... I purchased an 18-lap and felt that I could clock a faster lap and ended up doing another 12 laps. I ended up doing a sub-38-second mile, but was disappointed because I'm definitely capable of going faster in that car. The "instructor" (who drives a lead car that you follow) I felt, was taking a less aggressive racing line and I end up getting really close in the turns and on a few occasions had to brake to maintain a safe distance. I was told that drivers need to be "built up" to higher speeds (meaning more laps) which is understandable for safety reasons, but if I'm comfortable with the speed and maintaining a safe drive, I shouldn't be held back. Everyone has a different limit. I get the sense that they are trying to have you purchase more laps in order to go faster (which is the whole point of paying $1000 isn't it?)

Personally, I wouldn't do this again. A better option - you can now go to the Audi factory in Ingolstadt, Germany, rent an R8 or RS5 for a 2-night trip including hotel stays, drive on the Autobahn at up to those speeds for 2 days, and it costs EUR1300. I suppose getting to Germany is the challenge - hardly an Orlando vacation ;)

“Best fun you can have with your clothes on!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 25, 2012 via mobile

An old cliche I know but it's true. Nothing compares to the noise & excitement of driving one of these 600 bhp beasts round a closed track on full slicks. Granted you don't get the full 1000 bhp of the cup cars but 600 is more than adequate.
It's not cheap & more laps would have been nice, but this is completely understandable when you consider the fuel economy of one of these snarling V8s.
This is without a doubt the best experience I've ever had, simply awesome!
