I am making this review "terrible" because I alwasy read the terribles looking for information and hope that this is helpful to prospective patrons. We visited the first week of September which was great business wise. It was a ghost town the first few hours and even once it got busy it wasn't bad at all. However... My sister is 6 feet tall and although overweight, not morbidly so. She is built like a football player or a standard bulky 6 foot guy... broad shoulders, big boned, hips, chest.... but very proportionate. She couldn't get on any of the rollercoasters or thrill rides. She got up to them and ten was told she couldn't ride. She rode all the rides at Disney, space mountain, etc. with no problems. We live near Hershey Park and also has never had any difficulties on anything there. She was pretty shocked and upset at spending all that money and time in lines to be embarrased and not able to ride. Such a shame because I (average sized) enjoyed the park, but I can't imagine how many people must have issues if she did. They should at least let you know when getting tickets or looking into it, etc.

First don't go in the summer. The long lines are even tougher with 95 degree heat! Spend the money on fast passes but beware there are 2 different kinds. 1 allows you to skip ahead but limits you to doing it once per ride. Didn't know it until after we bought them. Bring dry clothes. The water rides will get you drenched. And it's no fun walking around in wet clothes. Unless you can afford $35 for a tshirt. But the kids loved it.

We went for the Haunted Halloween Nights haunted houses and had a ball. Strongly recommend the Fast Pass for the event otherwise you will spend a LONG time in line. Well worth the trip!

If you haven't been, you must check out this year's Halloween Horror Night but it's not for the faint-hearted! There are zombies everywhere since this year's theme is "The Walking Dead". They are scary and WILL come up to you and scare you but, don't worry, they won't touch you. The lines are long so maybe an express pass would help if you're not cheap and want to see everything, well, mostly everything, in one night. Otherwise, get the pass and come back several times to see all the haunted houses.

I felt completely ripped off after paying 100 dollars to go there. Most of the rides are so old it's hilarious. The have rides dedicated to films like Twister (1996) - I've had stronger wind!, The Mummy (1999), Terminator 2 (1991) - OMG this one was bad, Men In Black 2 (2002), E.T. (1982) So bad it's hilarious, and Shrek (2001) not that bad. The Simpsons, Minions and Transformers rides would definitely be the highlights.
