My family and I (2 girls 11 and 9 and 1 boy 8) just visited universal orlando and island of adventure theme park just last week (july 15 and 17). First let me say Universal is packed with rides shows and excitement. They also open at 9am and close at 10pm so you and your family are guaranteed a full day of excitement. Universal has the best assortment of rides you will find at just about any theme park. Rides such as Transformers, The Mummy's Revenge, Dispicable Me and the Fear Factor show will be sure to get your adrenaline kicked up and pumping! But! So will the price. Universal is not cheap expect to spend around $450 dollars for each park for a family of 5 and that doesn't include the "express passes". What are express passes? Express passes are only the greatest idea to hit theme parks since the smoked turkey leg. Express passes allow you to enter through a separate line which will give you a shorter wait time than those waiting in the standard line. How express are they? Well one ride showed a wait time of 70min we we're able to ride that ride 3 times before others in the standard line road once. Express passes are costly I spent almost $500 for my family. Which for some is way too.much but when you consider the Florida heat and standing with children for over and hour for every ride it may not seem like that big of an expense. Universal also has the blue man group (seperate cost) and "city walk" which is a great night time attraction that boast restaurants an imax theater, miniature golf and shopping. Simply put Universal will dent your wallet But you have tons to do, see and experience with your family and that's truly what vacation is all about.

We enjoyed this park so much, there was plenty of things to do. My son enjoyed the Despicable me ride so much and after the ride, you get to dance and take pictures with the minion and his friends. The souvenir stores had a lot of nice things to buy. Wonderful place, fun for the whole entire family, you can ride together in almost all the rides. We also loved the transformers ride in 3D it was amazing. It also has a curious george water park so don't forget your bathing suits! Would def go again!

I have been wanting to go for soo long to universal studios orlando that when I finally went I was not disappointed. All the rides were amazing. Harry potter was a ride that felt like it came from a different planet. Although some rides had a long waiting line I can promise you that at the end it is worth it. If you are willing to do nearly all attractions I would recommend to buy a 2 day pass just so that you can catch all the promising rides! overall it is a must go
