Universal studios is an awesome place to visit, don't forget to add tax on ticket price and food and other crap, what's the old saying felt like a good experience if you add fleecing to it,never mind family had fun and I have got another year to save or get a better paid job.

“Loved it,”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

We preferred universal to Disney. My youngest who is 4, loved the water play grounds and cat in the hat stuff, we loved the new despicable me ride, cues were long but if you go first thing in morning and hit this ride first not long wait. Only thing is Food in universal not a good as in Disney parks.

We actually had more fun here than at Islands of Adventure which seems different from most reviews. There were a ton of shows and we loved them all. There were also great rides and fun coasters. I would suggest getting an express pass. We didn't get one the day before at Islands and had plenty of time to get everything in. It was still a fairly slow day when we went here, but because there were more shows we wanted to see, it did take longer to see everything. Also, there is no early entry to Universal like there is at Islands, so even if you have a one hour early admission pass, it will not work here. This seemed to be a surprise to everyone standing in line. Definitely see the Beetlejuice show if you like music shows and the Fear Factor show was great too.

“Great fun for all the family”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

Been to Orlando twice now and been to both Universal parks each time. They have a great variety of rids to suit the whole family, although Islands of Adventure is more aimed at your thrill seekers and the other park has more of your 4d rides both have a bit of a mixture which makes it a great family destination. The production value of the attractions and the areas are amazing, you can't find anything like it over here in the UK! The Harry Potter area in particular is astonishing to behold, and the attraction itself is very smart. The main downside as with most parks is the queues, which cant really be helped. The fastpasses are great, and we made the most of them. It is a shame they are so pricey, but I guess if they were cheap it would defeat the whole purpose seeing as everyone would have one. Maybe a system like disneys fast pass would be nice though.

To sum up, amazing attractions and immersive worlds. A must do for the family when in Orlando!

“Awesome Rides”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

Got a two day pass and could have easily spent two more days there. The rides and attractions were a blast. We didnt have the VIP pass but didnt seem to hold us up at all, really dont think you should be able to buy your way on the rides faster. The service was very good in all aspects. Our kids, 13 and 15, really liked it here because of fast pace and vitural rides. When the park closed the restaurants on the Boardwalk were great and fairly easy to get a table. Looking forward to going back again. Oh yeah Grinch Charcter was awesome had I laughing for hours.
