We visited the park twice as we had 14 days ticket included in a discovery cove package. We was not disappointed on both occasions. Also we had a fast pass included for free as we stopped at Renaissance Hotel next to the park. The park is well organised and wait times were low. The Shamu show was not on, however this was on their website and on a board outside the park. But it was still possible to view the whales in Shamu up close. The dolphin show was excellent we saw it twice and it amazed us on both occasions, full of surprises. The penguin area was very excellent. The penguins are well looked after and energetic, got splashed a couple of times. This area is kept at 0 degrees so if spending a lot of time take a jumper. You can defiantly see everything in one day if you arrive early enough plenty of parking is available and regular bus services. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Children will really enjoy Sea world. We would definitely go again. The Manta and Kraken rides are not for the faint hearted.

I was disappointed in Sea World for a couple of reasons. The Shamu arena was closed down and they bunched people in a tiny area just to see the whales. This show is a big part of the reason for coming to Sea World. They also closed the Sky Tower because they said it was too windy, which it wasn't. After coming from Universal this was definitely a downgrade in entertainment. Antarctica was also very over rated. Its almost impossible to see all the shows in one day because they don't offer a lot of time frames for each one. Stay away from any meal plan, you wont get what you paid for. The food is not good, they give you a meager portion, and its way overpriced. Like most tourist traps in Orlando, they are professional nickel and dimers. The price of admission in general does not match what you get. And watch out for the oysters secret. The kids think its great but pre-dyed cultured pearls aren't as rare as the lady with the microphone will tell you.

The good parts: The Manta which is a wild ride and the dolphin show was great. Feeding the dolphins for an extra $7 pp was also pretty cool. The park isn't as crowded as Disney and Universal parks which made getting around and getting on rides easier. If you love dolphins you may be better off using the admission cost towards a private swim at discovery cove.

If Sea World and Universal are both on your agenda, go to Sea World first, its a smaller and lamer park, so you won't feel like you down graded your fun.

lot of work going on and there seems to be more work to make it a rides kind of park rather than what it represented for work in conservation.to many queues to see the fish ,penguins, manatees etc and you do not have long to enjoy your closeness to them.

We debated whether to go after Blackfish, but we love aquariums and it we only had time to visit one park while we were in the area on business. I was appalled by the $92 ticket price, but we soon became enchanted with the aquariums, sea lion show, etc. (There was no whale show.) There is a cool restaurant near the shark exhibit that's like being inside an aquarium, and even the bar is a small aquarium. The highlight was the dolphin show. It is an absolute spectacle! So many things going on ... we were like children again -- just amazed and happy. It was a fun day.

Clyde/Seymore Pirate show & Dolphin show a must!!! Whale show was closed something we wanted to see. Expect long wait time to get tickets took forever to get into the park to get started about 30 minutes standing in a long line.
