The positive...the dolphin show was cool.
We did go in January and I realize this is an off season...however most shows were closed and you can't see shamu. Now if most things are under construction or are closed I think charging $500(with parking) for a family of 5 is CRAZY!!!! Save your money!!!!

Had an amazing day at Seaworld! Shows were awesome and we easily made it to all of them. Our family unanimously liked it better then any of the Disney parks. More magic here then Disney for sure. Could have spent all day at dolphin cove interacting with the the dolphins & watching the whales. Penguin exhibit was fun too! We were there on a very slow day so no waits for anything. Seaworld has found some great ways to get their guests interacting with the animals. Staff were very helpful and we were frequently asked if we would like a family photo taken with our camera. Trainers were very informative about the animals they worked with but in a fun way that really kept our kids attention. Only bad part was the rides. We brought our 6 & 8 year old, both were too short for the roller coasters and the rides in the kiddy area were way to boring for them. Would have been nice to have a couple of in between rides for them but we were so busy at the shows and other attractions that the disappointment of being too short for the roller coasters was short lived. Definite must do when in the area!

We did 2 days here, the first one was a full day taking in as much as we could and were fortunate (i.e. I researched) and did it before a few of the shows and rides were closed for refurb. So got to see the One ocean and rock shamu shows both excellent. We also went a few days later when they were having up close presentations with the whales showing how they work with them and it looked like both trainers and whales were having a blast.

Enjoyed the rides and felt Manta is the best ride in the Orlando area, It's different, it's smooth and exciting all you could ask for really, plus the longest I queued for it was 20 minutes.

We had a 14day 3 park ticket so the value was worth it as we went twice plus a trip to aquatica and Busch gardens.

Only disappointment was Antaratica I really wanted to go and see this as the promotional material had pictures of emperor penguins and stupidly thought they would there, I've seen all the rest and was therefore disappointed with what I saw, plus I think they could do more with the ride it was a big disappointment.

We decided to visit Sea World after spending a couple of days at Disney. I didn't know what to expect, after having come from Disney (it's hard to top Disney). I was pleasantly surprised at Sea World - it is a top notch park. The shows and exhibits were very enjoyable. There is a lot to see and do here for all ages. We saw most of the animal shows and liked all of them. We spent the whole day here and did not see/ride everything. Def. worth the time and money to visit Sea World.

Visited on 1/27- Monday, arrived early & no crowds. Went to all shows & attractions. Fed the stingrays, dolphins, & sea lions-spent an extra $20.00, but for me worth the experience. Dolphin & dog/cat/bird shows excellent. It's amazing how they got those cats to do the things they did. Park clean, food-typical park fare along with the high prices. Staff engaging & were there to answer your questions. We stayed approx. 6 hrs. & were able to see it all. Shamu exhibit being revamped, but you can still see these killer whales in the tank. Just a couple rides, in addition to 2 roller coasters which had little to no wait. There is a kiddy ride area, but didn't check that out since no kids. Overall, worth the trip.
