Although I do not agree totally with the ethics of keeping animals in captivity SeaWorld is an excellent day out. It is a brilliant way to see these wonderful animals up close.
The whale show is spectacular but be aware unless you do want to get wet do not sit in the splash zone but you do get a fantastic view of whales.
There are plenty of restaurants and snacks available for all tastes.
The new penguin ride is awesome you can get so close to them you can almost touch them, fantastic.
SeaWorld is a must see experience.

First park we visited during our honeymoon in Orlando and one of the best all the staff were very helpful. Park was beautifully maintained. NO QUES for any rides ran to the front every time! Got great seats at all the shows even if we did get a little wet at a couple. Really really enjoyed it please don't be put off by the bad press!

We actually went to times to Sea World because it was free (it came with our Discovery Cove tickets). This is a beautiful park, with great atmo, but there is not much to do. The first time we went it had been raining most of the day but it had stopped when we got there, the sight seeing tower was closed do to heavy wind but there was no wind and even though the park did not close until six many of the shops, rides and restaurants ware already closing at five, so there was not much to do. The aquarium was great, seeing all the fish and sharks so up close was great and the only thing that made us go wow. Seeing dolphins and orcas in a way to small tanks, not so much. We then went again because we wanted to give it another chance, now the tower was open and almost all of the rides but I still felt like the park was missing something, dont know what, but I just did not like it as much as everybody seems to do

If you are looking to get away from the busy Disney parks and enjoy a bit of a slower paced park - this is it. We have been here many times and found this place to be a bit slower than the other parks. My kids loved the shows and being able to touch the baby stingrays - which were so cute... We were able to feed and pet the dolphins. we will definately go back.

We went in Oct was really impressed by the shows ...but the parking was awful we had to park far away with elderly parents <<no disney tram here>> ..and when we went to leave after dark the lot was very dark hardly any lights ..and we were approuched by people in the lot asking us to come over to their car to look at a map (we did not)gave us a very uneasy feeling ...I strongly recomemend the animal show with cats, dog, etc *****Helpful hint maybe take hotel transportation not parking to deal with
