It has been several years since our last trip to Sea World. What a change! There are even more quality shows AND rollercoasters, the Manta and the Kraken. I have never been on a roller coaster that starts out having you locked in facing down. Scary and fun!!
The Journey to Atlantis and SKy Tower were not open this trip. We enjoyed the Turtle Trek- a 360 degree theater experience as well as information on turtles and their endangered status.
The Alure, Call of the Ocean, a Cirque-de Soleil-esque presentation. Fantastic. The dolphin show (Blue Horizons) almost outshone Shamu. Of course, Shamu and friends were still the great attraction. They have added more interactive/technology to the show. you can text your name while you wait and various characters post your name on the big screen. If you e-mail your picture in, it will show up at the show's ending. Remember to bring extra clothes if you sit any where 7 rows up from the splash zone. You WILL get soaked.

We have just come back from Orlando and this was our 5th visit since the year 2000 and i felt quite let down. The park had alot of things shut or boarded up,the Shamu Show was good but not a patch on the old show and the dolphin show was know where near as good as previous ones, the Sealion show was as good as it has always been even though it has hardly altered in all that time.
The park was lovely and clean and not too busy, the rides, especially the new Manta were good but i did think the staff were all miserable compared to Disney or Universal.I only bought 1 coffee as i couldn't find a stand open that sold it and i had to wait to be served while the server was playing with her phone.I went into one shop and the staff member in there was also head down on her phone and didn't acknowledge me at all and when we left the staff member on the exit was on his phone !! I did have a 14 day pass which included unlimited entry for Seaworld, but we didn't go back.

this is the opposite of Disney because there is not the mega miles to go from one place to the other. I think that people were walking a moderate to quick pace rather than the rushing that you experience at disney. I like that change and it feel floridian in the park rather than rides and more rides
