“Disappointing :(((((”
Reviewed August 16, 2013 via mobile

We were expecting a really good day, as we have been to other water parks. But the que's were really really long for some of the best rides, which meant everyone packed into the lazy rivers, so crowded. The food was poor at the restaurants. We stayed for about 5 hours and didn't bother going back again. Surely those black and white dolphins must get bored, swimming around the same spot day in - day out, on one of the flume rides? Don't dolphins need loads of space? Just saying!

“Spend you time going somewhere else!”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

As entrance to this park was part of our overall ticket then we thought that would spend the day enjoying the rides (as we would do at blizzard beach or typhoon lagoon). What a disappointment ..... The signature ride where you go thru tunnel with dolphins alongside is certainly not worth the long queue.....we should have known better when just looking at the ride from the viewing area.

Other rides are just too short, slow and lack height required to make exhilarating and FUN..... One even has what I would call speed bumps in it! They certainly did nothing for the experience!

Best part of the whole park is the rapids.....if these were transported to one of the Disney water parks then they would be a hit.

On reflection then the park is best suited to younger kids, although need to be tall ones if allowed to ride on most of slides!

If you want a water park that has some excitement then go to one of the alternatives.

“Nice waterpark”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

We enjoyed the waterpark on a hot and busy day at the park. With the crowds, unfortunately, you have the longer than desired wait times for the water rides. The park is well laid out and has a great variety of rides. The park has plenty of lounge chairs to use. Food is expensive, like most theme parks. Our admission into the park included an admission package to Sea World, Discovery Cove and Busch Gardens, so after paying for Discovery Cove (which is wonderful), additional cost for the other parks was minimal. We would return to Aquatica in the future.

“Great day”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

Not sure if we hit a slow day, but it was 95 and the lines were very reasonable. When the kids don't complain it is a good day!!! Great water park will definately go again.

“Great if you get in early!”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

Word of warning! They charge you to get in, then for towels and locker, then the drink and food is very expensive and to top it off they are very strict on what you can bring in, basically small bottles of water and small bags of crisps. That said the rides are great fun and rapids are brilliant fun, but only if you get in early, after about 11:30 it gets so busy you could be stood in line for over and hour to get on a slide.
