Good quick service located at the heart of Disneys Animal Kingdom. It is easy to find and a good place to out.
Voted best pulled pork sandwich is Disney and has lovely salads and other entrees.
Only issue is there is only outside seating, on a sunny day this is ideal however in the rain and the cold not everyones cup of tea.

Barbecue is great and service is quick. A great quick service in Animal Kingdom. Kids loved it. The only weird thing if the paper straws.

We enjoyed a relaxing lunch in late June while touring Animal Kingdom. Recommend the pulled pork and chicken platters. Choice of two decent BBQ sauces at condiment station. Will probably return during our next trip to Disney World.

This quick service rstaurant is not great but stops your hunger pains. I usually do not dine at quick service but tried this one because they accepted my Tables in Wonderland discount. It was very average and I would not return. Too many other excellent choices in Disney.

I was really torn on my rating for this location....I would rather have given it a 4.5, but I rounded up because everyone in our large party (14) really liked this place. The number of quick service locations in Animal Kingdom is limited and this one has, what I feel, is the best menu of all at Ak and one of the best in all of the Disney World Parks. It is varied enough that everyone can find something to eat. (unlike many other Quick service locations.).
Since it is quick service, you walk up and order to a cashier and then pay her. You then move to the counter where your food is given to you in short order. The lines to order were farily short and the cashiers were doing a nice job of moving the line along. Receiving your food was not as quick as some other locations, but still an acceptable time frame. (possibly due to the larger menu.) With the Disney Dining Plan, you get an entree (most come with a side), a dessert and your drink. (it is nice that bottled water can count as your drink.)
While they only offer two desserts, chocolate moose and a key lime moose, both were very good and the portion was quite adequate. (the chocolate moose was one of the best I had all week. My family members who had the key lime, really liked it too.).
The entree portions are quite large for a quick service restaurant. I had a very good turkey sandwich with cranberry relish. Plenty of turkey but the relish was limited and you could hardly taste it. Plenty of HOT fries for my side. My daughter had the Rib and Chicken combo and it was more than she could eat. (and she loves ribs...). Other family members tried the Smoked Chicken Salad and said it was tasty. Those who had the "fruit plate" were amazed at how much fruit that they got and the variety of fruit. (they passed some of it to the rest of us.) Whle I subbed fries for my fruit, those who got fruit for their side said it was a large portion as well.
The beans and coleslaw (the normal sides with some of the meals) was also very good.
The seating area is above the area where you order your food and is somewhat secluded from the hustle and bustle of the Animal Kingdom walkways. There are condiment bars in the seating area and cast members (Disney speak for workers) going around the seating area cleaning tables and collecting trays and trash. The overall location for this restaurant is also good, on the trail leading to Dino Land and near the entrance to "it's Tough to Be a Bug."
A very good choice for quick service meal in Animal Kingdom.
