“A Unique Food Experience”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

Brian, the chef and owner, has created a whole new food experience since taking over. I'd heard so much about Berowra Waters Inn and it has exceeded all my expectations. The intimate atmosphere, fantastic service and beautiful setting made the degustation an absolute delight. My favourite of the moreish seven course degustation was the first course Oyster, Squid and Cucumber. The fresh, clean and clear flavours were... wow!!! A truly unique experience!

“Outstanding !!!!”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

This is definitely one not to miss. Everything is a wonderful experience - from taking the little pick up ferry across to the Restaurant or coming in by sea plane. The De- gustation lunches here are special. Great care is taken by all staff, from waiters to chefs- everything was of the highest standard. The view over the River can be seen from every table and lazing away a Sunday lunch for 3-4 hours with a view like this is not hard. Difficult to explain the lovely morsels of food that is served as they change seasonally with varying combinations. -Best looking up their website to give you an idea. Have been here several times and have booked again for October. This is a Good place for a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, proposal ?)

“Just Dropping In”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

Now and again a little bit of luxury is what's needed. But one risks disapointment. Nothing about this Sydney holiday highlight disappointed. Wonderful Sydney Seaplanes flight out to the Hawkesbury above north shores panorama. We were warmly welcomed and a waltz of courses with matching wines commenced. Surprising number of European wines that peaked the interest of our SA guests. Dishes are delicate sizes and included scallop, toothfish and an excellent rib of beef with stinging nettle. The patient Alaskan (!) pilot ensured a superb flight back to Rose Bay.

“Fabulous”

Had a lovely meal here a few weeks ago. Food and service was outstanding. Being only accessible by boat makes this place that little bit more special. Will go again.

“Couldn't have wished for more!”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

We recently visited Australia and decided on one last big hurrah before we returned to South Africa. Berowra Waters Inn came out tops and so off we went on Sunday 27 May for a beautiful lunch.

The ferry trip added that little extra excitement to what was promising to be a faultless day...great food, -wine, -setting, -friends, -staff. Thanks Chef Geraghty and his team in the kitchen...and a special thanks to Robbie & Lisa who looked after us effortlessly and seamlessly.

The food was innovative, plated beautifully...vibrant colours and fresh, but more importantly it sported tons of flavour. Every course a masterpiece.

With the South African Rand/Aus Dollar exchange rate it was certainly not a cheap experience, but would I return to this fantastic establishment should I ever visit Oz again? Hell yeah!

It has already been said in a previous review, but to the lucky ones that live in Sydney and surrounds...don't wait for a special occasion, just go & celebrate good food and life.
