Arrived early on a Sunday evening and first impression is the restaurant is a bit tired looking. Set in a strip mall and it has been here a long time. I ate here several years ago and the place was hopping. This visit it looked like it has not kept up with the competition around the area. The décor is very basic, carpet is worn out, rest rooms smelly but service was friendly and solid. Most items are staple seafood combinations with lot's of fried options. We tried the calamari and fried mushrooms for apps and the salt content was over the top. Unfortunately the same batter was used for other menu items and that was not good. We had a large party and various items were ordered with nothing standing out. While we were there only a few folks arrived for dinner. It looks like most of them are seniors that have probably come here for years out of habit. Since there is no atmosphere or view it might be good if the food was better. A suggestion for the cook would be to try the food before it goes out to avoid the salt drenching batter that covered the other fried food. All and all just a bit disappointing.
