“Count the hangers”
Reviewed December 30, 2011

We were charged $5.00 for a missing hanger that we did not take. The moral of the story--while checking in to this hotel ask how many hangers are assigned to your room, so you can verify the validity of the hotel's count.

Traveled on business. The staff are all curtious, the hotel is clean and the rooms are large. All rooms include a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker and wifi.
Plenty of free parking and breakfast included.
Close to walmart, restaurants and the highway.

We went to FL for a family reunion and chose Sleep Inn & Suites because of its convenient location and the past reviews were mostly positive. The staff was very polite and accomodating. As with most hotels, check-in is at 3:00. We arrived around noon and were able to check in right away without any trouble. The room was a little "musty" smelling. But once we turnded the a/c temp. down a little and the fan on higher, it was fine. There is a small refrigerator and a microwave in each room. The breakfast buffet was good and the hotel is very clean. We were surprised that we had access to the business center (computer and printer) so we could print our boarding passes for our flight out - with no extra fees. How nice is that? :-) We would definitely stay here again!

The Sleep Inn & Suites in Orange Park Florida was great. Huge room. The staff was super friendly. I was in Florida to gator hunt, so I came and went at odd hours for my 6 day stay. Housekeeping was very accomodating working around my schedule. I had the breakfast buffet 2 mornings and it was really good. Thanks much!

While visiting with friends in Fleming Island, they suggested I stay at the Fleming Island Sleep Inn & Suites to the proximity of their home., and they heard it was a clean hotel. I was amazed how clean it was and how customer friendly their staff was to myself and all the guests. No wonder they are an award winning hotel..it shows. The manager, Susan, was mingling with guests at breakfast and then I saw her helping out at the front desk. All the staff greets you with the smile and a hello -- from the front desk to maintenance man to housekeepers. It was a great stay and I will definitely stay again and refer this hotel.

Room Tip: the lakeside rooms are great, with a nice view of the lake outside and the woods.

I chose this hotel due to proximity to nearby Green Cove Springs, and I am glad I did.

My room was spotless, and the A/C worked great in the hot August heat. This is a 3 floor hotel and the elevator made quick work of getting you to your floor. This hotel is approx 3 years old and has been very well maintained during that time.

Service was excellent and everyone was courteous and had a welcoming smile.

Breakfast was hot and in addition to the customary waffle machine, I enjoyed the bacon and small egg omelets. Within short walking distance, there is also an IHOP and an Applebee's in the same strip center as well.

Although there is another Choice Hotel (Comfort Inn) a few short miles (5-6?) closer to I-295, this hotel is definitely WORTH the extra few minutes drive down Highway 17. I will make it a point to stay here next time I'm in that area.

It's your typical Sleep Inn, casual and it works, if you just need a place to sleep for the night. Price is fair. It's a non-smoking hotel which is really nice, but OMG there are tons of smokers ( including the staff) standing just outside the lobby smoking like fiends. How gross is that? Move the giant cigarette stands somewhere else...at 8AM it's disgusting. The parking lot is a little strange too, seems to be some type of shared access with IHOP, but it works. I wouldn't want to be there for a week but for an overnight it's fine and a whole lot nicer than the surrounding hotels by a long shot.
