Some friends took us to the place for dinner the other night. First - the place is huge - seems like it been added on to over the years. It's extremely casual - not pretentious - just a good ol' boy kind of place. We went in at the bar - which was large and had live music - there were plenty of people having a good time. We were seated at a table - I think their known for their catfish, but my wife and I had fried shrimp - which were very good. The other couple had teriyaki wings. They're locals and had eaten there many times. If you're in the area - and you want to have seafood at a reasonably priced restaurant - I'd certainly recommend this place. The wait staff was very good - we all enjoyed our food - it'a neat place.

Have been going to Whiteys for years. Whether its for dinner or a night out I have never had a bad experience with them. Love the entertainment they provide and the beautiful view of the water.

It's on the river and there's a lot to see. Food is pretty good, mostly fried and a bit greasy. But what the heck -- it's a fish camp!

I've frequented Whitey's since the late 1970s and have watched it grow to its current state. This is the place to bring the family. Stay for dinner, stay for several days or more. The restaurant features great seafood, live music on weekends, cocktails, cards, pool and fishing tournament action when in season. An RV park and boat rentals with a bait and tackle shop on location.

A bit on the rustic side, lots of room, inside and outside seating and good seafood. This is a good place to chow down on everything from fried catfish to crablegs. Reasonalbe prices, friendly and helpful staff and the food keep this one on my must list when in the area.
