“A warm and comfortable cottage.”
Reviewed January 11, 2017 for a stay in December 2016

A warm and friendly greeting on arrival, Christmas tree in cottage still being decorated as we arrived a little early. A really nice touch. Chocolates and bottle of wine also. An ideal location for touring around Kent and had Christmas Dinner at the Leicester Arms in Penshurst, an old English pub, what a day!
Andy and Kate are very friendly and helpful people. The cottage has everything and very warm with excellent heating system and comfortable bed.
Thanks for the stay it was most enjoyable and to feed the little Robin and Black bird at the door when it was -5 degrees C was great.
Thanks for everything.

“Wonderful country stay.”
Reviewed December 20, 2016 for a stay in December 2016

We had already stayed at one of Andy and Katie's French properties which we very much enjoyed. We were not disappointed when we stayed at the Kent property. The cottages are within a fully modernised stable building which retains the charm of the country setting but is modern and very comfortable. Andy and Katie are awesome hosts providing all you need for your stay including great information packs with information on things to do around the area. Our children (who vary in age from 7 to 17) enjoyed exploring the property and watching Andy try and catch moles! Thanks for a wonderful stay we will be back.

“Wonderfull”
Reviewed November 30, 2016 for a stay in November 2016

Had a lovely time in Stable Cottage.Well equipped and beautifully kept, There is a welcome pack which is perfect for late arrival. The cottage feels peaceful and calm with splendid views. We had a relaxing few days and will definitely want to return again .The owners encourage young children to go as there are plenty of activities for them in the fields such as climbing frames zip wire, tree houses and exploring. It is a little paradise for them.

“Fantastic Holiday Location”
Reviewed August 20, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

I love this place. We visited in August this year and had a wonderful week there. The surroundings are stunning. Set in rural Tonbridge, it felt like we were in France! Amazing gardens, facilities for the children meant you could relax with a glass of red wine and enjoy their happiness without feeling the need to get in and out of the car constantly. If you do want to visit places, Katie and Andy provide a comprehensive guide book to cater for all needs. We visited Leeds Castle, went cycling at Bedgbury Park, swimming, visited The Hop Farm. The children however just wanted to come back to the cottage and play in the grounds. There was so much to do there the kids were fully entertained all day long!

We loved it here. Highly recommended.

“You can't find anything better for a holiday with small children”
Reviewed July 14, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We had a great week and the children absolutely loved it. Katy & Andrew are wonderful hosts and they clearly know how to make things fun for the kids. The property is lovely, with a beautiful garden on the one side of the main house and a field with a mad collection of fun stuff for the children to play with/in/on on the other side. The cottage is well equipped and the location is perfect as a starting point for daytrips throughout Kent or to London.

“rural retreat very close to central London”
Reviewed April 30, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Andy and Katie make you feel very welcome without intruding on you. Things like having some bread, butter, jam, and milk (not to mention the wine and the chocolates) mean a lot when you have just been driving for 12 hours south from Scotland :-)
The cottage is lovely, compact, but everything you need is there! The huge gardens around the house and cottages is every kid's (and thus parent's) dream. Lots of pubs (2 on walking distance) for lunches or evening meals around and last but definitely not least: Park your car at close by Sevenoaks railway station and within 30 minutes you are in central London!

“Beautiful country setting”
Reviewed January 7, 2016 for a stay in January 2016

Stable Cottage is set in lovely Kent countryside. Our only regret is that didn't make the most of all the amenities.

Thank you.
