The house was far of the main road almost at Dursey Island. But the view from the room of the Dursey Bay was remarkable. Although it is a small B&B they fulfilled every wish we had and offered a great breakfast. The funniest detail about this place is that they own a peacock. The price was more than ok.

Room Tip: ROOM with view!!

We stayed over night with Agnes and Paddy at the advice of Mark and Ann Marie from the Lawcus Farm Guest House. I wish I had a fishing rod and a boat as the water was beautiful and the fish everywhere. There was a lot of great history in the area, the breakfast was wonderful. The view from our room was right on the ocean! They also let us make use of their clothes line after we washed them. Had our trip not been a short one I would have stayed for several days as I wanted to hike the island and up to the German stukka crash site. If you want to get away from everything going this is where you should go!

We stayed for only one night with Agnes and Paddy but wished we could stay longer. The view from their home is incredible. Dinner and breakfast were more than five star quality. The rooms are comfortable and most have a wonderful view. The is an excellent place to stay to enjoy walking the Beara Way. This is in a remote part of Ireland and is so special to experience. Agnes and Paddy love their establishment and put so much effort into ensuring guests are provided with nothing but the best.

I stayed here for one night during a walk on the Beara Way (booked through Hillwalk Ireland). Paddy and Agnes were so welcoming and cooked up a delicious breakfast and dinner. The house has the most amazing view of Dursey Sound and Dursey Island. This b&b is a true retreat and a nice respite after spending the day hiking; I only wish I could have stayed more than 1 night! Paddy also operates the cable car over to Dursey Island; I recommend heading over there for the afternoon!

Loving enthousiasm and kindness is being offerd here combined with excellent rooms and food. The view ud very nice and everything is of high standaard. There is yelevision in the rooms for dvds only and I enjoyed the selection they chose. When you go, also take a tour on Dursey Island with the cable car. It is lovely.

The Beara Peninsula is in itself a unique and extraordinary place. The very tip of Beara is even more so. Then there is this perfect B&B right there on the waters edge. In over 40 years of visiting Ireland, we think this is one of the best places to stay. Paddy and Agnes exemplify what is best about Irish hospitality; friendly, helpful, funny, generous and attentive to every detail. Breakfast was exceptional with locally crafted cheeses, yoghurts, granola and organic honey not to mention the traditional "full Irish".
This was not our first time staying there and it will not be our last!

Room Tip: there are rooms away from the main house with fantastic views.

We have been at this B&B just for one night, but this has been enough to love this place and this people!
This B&B is situated in a incredible position over the bay and the only thing you can hear during your stay is the sound of the wind and of the ovean waves!
The structure is almost new, the room was very big and with a double bed and a single bed more.
In the room we also found a binocular for bird watching or for landscape seeing.
Finally... The breakfast... Incredibly large offer, but we have a suggestion: the scrambled eggs with salmon are delicious! Owners are great cook!
