Have been a patron of Eggstyle for several years and loved the fresh food, generous portions, friendly service and atmosphere. The new "atmosphere" of a confusing two restaurants in one location isn't working. The owner consolidated his breakfast/lunch restaurant with his/dinner Greek restaurant and put them in the Eggstyle location. That would have been fine EXCEPT they replaced the quaint decor with a "spray paint everything blue and white" motif. The etched concrete floor has been covered over in grey garage paint. The high end wood fixtures and multicolored ceramic tile are painted over. It looks cheap.
We have plenty of Greek restaurants and did not need to overtake a tasteful breakfast spot to add yet another. The new atmosphere is stark. The Eggstyle menu is stiff offered (with a paper "Skara" sheet stapled to it), however the food is not what it was. The attention to detail is gone, order your food a certain way and it comes out another. Order coffee, find your own creamer. The fresh fruit now looks like it came from the discounted over ripe section. If I wanted to eat breakfast in a Greek restaurant I would have gone to one.

Sorry guys-you took two moderately successful restaurants and produced a single confusing failure

For what the place represents, more or less an ordinary diner, the place seems quite high priced for the items on the menu and what you get. The omelet I had was okay, but I have had lots better and for a better price, the other people at our table seemed to quite enjoy what they had, egg and bacon and waffles, but it was nothing out of the ordinary. It really is a shame, because this area in Oldsmar could really do with a good breakfast Restaurant. For not being all that busy, the staff could have been a little more attentive, also cleaning doesn't seem to be a strong point in this place. Lots of room for improvement.

I don't understand so many of the prior slams against this restaurant. Maybe I haven't eaten here often enough to have had a bad experience but I find it quite good, indeed. The service has been prompt and the food good. I particularly like the assortment of crepes offered, something ironically you can rarely find even in most restaurants specializing in breakfasts. You can get tired of the "same old same old" menus of eggs, pancakes and waffle choices at most morning restaurants.

The prices are a little bit higher than normal for the usual foods but it's a very nice and comfortable place.

A friend had strongly recommended this restaurant, so we had breakfast here on a Friday morning. It was not busy at all, and we ordered omelets. They were OK, but not as good as some others we have eaten. Also, we noticed that the place could have used a good cleaning. Crumbs were on the floor under the tables, dirty wall paneling, etc. On a busy weekend day, I could understand all the crumbs on the floor. But considering that they were not busy, it would have been nice to see a waiter or waitress with a little broom.

A friend and I enjoyed breakfast there. My omelet, the meat lovers was very filling and tasty. She ordered eggs over easy but they were a tad overdone but enjoyed nevertheless. Service great. Always attentive.
