Our twelve authentic cuts and presentations of meat are seasoned with salt and roasted rotisserie-style over mineral coals imported from Brazil, basted continuously by their own natural juices. Served by traditional roving Gauchos, they are complemented by an opulent salad and vegetable bar, delectable desserts and delicious wines, beer, and cocktails.

Visited during lunch on New Years Eve Day, staff was extremely friendly, courteous, and efficient. Great salad bar with plenty of choices. Side dishes available on the bar were rice, black beans, vegetarian lasagna, and meat lasagna.

The meats (all you can eat) are carved or served at the table and for lunch they included Sausage, Sirloin beef roast, pork tenderloin, and chicken. Great taste with bursts of flavors. A great value for less than 20 per person for lunch.

This is one of the most unique dining experiences ever. They serve skewers of meat at your table. The service was outstanding. They were always coming around asking us if we wanted more. There was more than an excellent variety of meats cooked to all likings. The only thing I would recommend is go at lunch. It is an outstanding value. I wouldn't even consider going in the evening as it is so expensive.

Visited last night for the fourth time. Three previous visits were great. Good food and good service. Last night was shocking. Service was good because they only had four tables occupied. Previous visits they were full. It was a sign of what was to come. Sirloin tips from the hot bar were like rubber erasers. Peschuto ham on salad bar was very tough. The Prime rib was all fat. Tried two bites and could not eat. The garlic beef was like rubber. Their signiture sirloin was OK but not up to previous standards. They have really diminished the quality of their food. Just a horribly disappointing experiance. I give them three more months in business at best if they don't make some major changes.

Even though it is an hour drive from my home to eat at Ipanema I enjoy churrascuria and average going there every three months or so. On my most recent visit on Sep 5, 2009 we worked out one of the problems from previous visits while others remain. For some reason it takes forever to get a Caipirihna at Ipanema. It takes 10-15 minutes to get the initial one and the same time for a second one. I don't know whether the problem is the bar or whether the server just doesn't pay attention. I may start calling ahead to see if a 15 minute warning will help! Ipanema's meat can be delicious if it is not overcooked but far too often it is overcooked and dry. This time we motioned for Raphael, one of the rodizio gauchos, to come to the table while we were still waiting for our drinks and we asked him to try to bring out medium rare or rare meat when we were ready. He agreed and our meat selections were fantastic this visit. Our waitress was again Angela and she was again super casual or disinterested in providing the exceptional service which you would expect for this restaurant's prices. The papaya creme mouse desert was a delicious ending to the meal. This restaurant is capable of being one of the very best in the area but management does not seem to want to improve service to get there. I will continue going for the beef but the manager needs to look at reviews and note that service is lacking.
