You may not get an exquisite meal at Darrell's, but you are likely to get fairly basic fare at a fair price. My last visit, I had ordered the Reuben sandwich for lunch. My opinion of it is that although it was as much bread as it was meat, it was still pretty good, at $7.95 (w/fries). I would have preferred they charge an extra dollar, and packed it impressively full with meat instead of the sandwich with spaces that was delivered.
The place is almost sterile looking inside as it lacks any sort of color or decorations, which is o.k. if they are going for the school cafeteria look. The waitress's are efficient enough though often hurried as it appears bus help is lacking.
Darrell's should do well even if it's because food options are lacking in the area.
Parking is plentiful.
The restrooms are clean.
