Today the Restaurant has 5 locations, (Plantation, Margate, Fort Lauderdale, Delray Beach and North Palm Beach) the largest of which seats 224 people having one brother in the kitchen and one sibling in the dining room of each location.

Small place, delicious food. Very busy but well worth it. Prices are great too! I often order their fried pork chuncks with black beans and rice. The sevices is average, but they are quick.

“Excellent Mexican/Spanish food in a casual atmosphere.”
Reviewed March 18, 2013 via mobile

La Bamba serves lunch and dinner from a menu of typical Mexican foods with some nice Spanish alternatives. All the foods have excellent flavors, attractive platings, and sizable quantities. We had mixed shrimp/beef fajitas-with firm cooked, tender large shrimp, tender beef strips, juicy vegetables, and great spices, and crab enchiladas with loads of real crab in a delicious cheese sauce. Guacamole was also excellent, complementing thin, hot tortilla chips and tasty regular and moderately spicy salsas. There is a full bar next to the main dining room. Take out available. Hours: 11:30 to 10 pm. Moderate cost. Go for the unusually good food.

“Great food”
Reviewed February 18, 2013 via mobile

I have eaten here on many occasions with different groups of friends and it is always enjoyable. I almost always get the Pollo ala Plancha, marinated chicken breast with black beans, rice and sweet plantains. I finally introduced my husband to it and he loves it as much as I do. My friends usually get something Mexican, and no matter what it is they enjoy it.
My husband and I occasionally like to stop in and sit at the bar for drinks. The bartender is friendly and the drinks are good. They serve tortilla chips with mild and hot salsa at the bar and at your table.
There are not many good Mexican restaurants to choose from in the area, but that doesn't diminish the quality of La Bamba's.

“Awesome Mexican and Spanish Food”
Reviewed January 16, 2013

Our whole family loves La Bamba - even our kids, who are picky eaters. We first discovered La Bamba when we lived in Broward County. When we moved, we missed it and were so excited when we learned they were opening in North Palm Beach! They have the BEST fresh salsa and tortilla chips. As soon as you sit down, ample amounts of both are brought to you, and you can choose hot, mild - or both. The service is excellent. Glasses are never empty, and when chips and salsa are running low, you are always offered more. La Bamba serves both Mexican dishes -such as tacos and burritos - and Spanish dishes, like arroz con pollo and picadillo. I usually get either a chicken burrito, which is delicious, or, when I want to eat a bit lighter, the pollo a la plancha (grilled chicken breast seasoned with garlic, lime and grilled onions served with black beans and rice and plantains). I recently tried the carnitas, which are melt-in-your-mouth tender pork chunks served with warm tortilla wrappers and toppings like pico di gallo, sour cream and guacamole. I will definitely order that again! We've tried other good Mexican restaurants in the area, but we think La Bamba is by far the best!
