I love Thai food. I lived in Thailand for a while and I believe I can tell if a Thai restaurant is good or not. This one is not good. It is comparable to a cheap Chinese take-out place. The place is dark and decorated in a very kitchy manner. The food is not cheap (relatively speaking) and the waiters are not very cordial. While I was there waiting for my food, a waiter and a busboy started having a loud argument in front of the customers and it went on for a while without a manager showing up to stop them. I ordered a shrimp pad Thai and it was just ok. The shrimp were tiny and were not completely peeled, and it did not have peanuts. For pretty much the same price you can go to Sushi-Siam and find a much nicer decor, better attention and food.

My kids love to eat here when they come into town. The Thai food is delicious, and the sushi is always very fresh. The menu offers something for everyone. It is not inexpensive, but is worth the cost. It's good to make a reservation, as it does get crowded.

We went there for dinner - seven people including kids - and everyone enjoyed their food. Shushi was made for m kid as he liked it and everyone else enjoyed their meal. Despite that the place was full of people we got great service. Barhtooms could have been a bit cleaner. I also found it a bit overpriced in the end.

This is an institution in North Miami Beach, having been founded in 1983. It has run its course. There are so many better places in the area to get Thai food. Drive a few miles west on 163rd Street to Panya Thai. Now you're talking. The sauces as Thai House 2 are watery, tasteless and unimaginative.
