OK; so there were no oldsters in this restaurant in North Miami and I figured that the food would not be the bland stuff that you often get in Miami. But I wasn't prepared for the heat that was in this food. I ordered everything medium hot and it all came out exceptionally spicy with virtually no other taste. The Pad Thai noodles were just sweet and everything else was just fiery. Great waitress who never stopped.

We had the Green curry and a delicious fried rice. The place is cozy, service is very personal,
Food flavor and presentation are very good. A new favorite.

3 for an early dinner on a Monday night at 5:30.. Very small and family run. Very limited parking in rear on a one way, west bound drive way behind the row of buildings. My Tom Kah Gai soup $ 5,00 was disappointing. No coconut milk that I could taste and way too much lime juice. My red curry duck $ 18.00 was good. The fried duck was presented alone on a separate plate from the sauce. I have eaten this dish in several Tahi restaurants and it has always been in the sauce. I like it best in the sauce so it is not so crispy and the sauce flavors the meat. I ask for NO bell peppers or pineapple and to add scallions instead. It came with NO scallions but was good. Red curry chicken $ 10.00 was good as was the Basil chicken $ 11.00.. We will be back..

I love this place though it doesn't look fancy :) Especially, fried shrimp was best ever. You may not be disappointed when you visit here

If you are looking for one of the new "trendy" Thai restaurants that seem to be springing on up everyplace; or one that is highly decorated and serves on expensive tables with expensive china; or one that is located in a "fancy" part of town; don't think of coming here. But if you want the best Thai food that you can find, fresh and with wonderfully complex flavors, than you must visit this small restaurant and indulge in a meal that you will remember and return to. After visiting more than 10 different Thai restaurants around the miami area, eating the same thing from all, I can readily say that Ricky Thai wins on all scores (if you're measuring their food and not the "show")

Don't tell a lot of people. Service is slow as it is because everything is made to order!
