Imagine yourself landing bream in great numbers!!
My tenant and friend tells me that this was not nearly his biggest catch - an angler's tale!!
Wonder what fish are about today?
A beautiful autumnal day. What a calm river and wonderful reflection.

Thank you so much, Suzy. Wasn't sure whether you had used the kayaks, but really glad you did. Hope to see you again. Good to have younger people there sometimes!! (and it gives the fish a break!!)
Kindest regards, Hilda

Thank you so much!! Sometimes I wonder why I don't stay more often myself!! Trouble is I live in the same village, so don't really have to!
Prefer dogs to people really!! Many thanks for this lovely review. Makes me feel all worth while.

“Amazing location”
Reviewed September 18, 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Highly recommended. Peace and tranquillity in an amazing setting, and just a short drive from the hustle and bustle of Norwich City.
Property is just lovely, couldn't have asked for more

This is a lovely comfortable little home from home. The owner Hilda is a lovely person and makes sure you are satisfied with everything. There is everything you need, plenty of pots, pans, cutlery, glasses etc. Comfortable bed, plenty of wardrobe/storage space. Sun chairs also provided. The French doors open fully so you can appreciate the wonderful views . Wildlife in abundance, ducks, swans, herons, kingfishers and we were lucky to see an Otter swim right past the chalet. Fishing quite good, some nice Bream and just have to mention the wonderful sunsets ranging from yellow to orange and bright red. All in all I would definitely recommend.

Oh I am so jealous.. and I own the place!! I have never seen an otter... other visitors have, but never me!! One visitor put up a movement initiated camera overnight. He got photos of the boat moving x 90!!! But no otter! Thank you for this review. It means a lot. Kindest regards, Hilda

“Beautiful little romantic hideaway”
Reviewed May 31, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Ah what can I say? This place is a little gem. I booked for my husbands birthday getaway. He loves fishing and it was dog friendly (we have a little Dacshund). We were truly overjoyed. The sun shone. If you stay here you will have absolutely everything you could possibly want or need. It is so clean and fresh. We woke up to the most amazing views is truly stunning. The Chinese nearby is amazing and it has a little pub on site too which was really welcoming. We took time to drive around and absorb the amazing views. Gorlestone Beach is a 20 minute drive away and was so worth it. We took a boat up the Broads. Truly brilliant time. A huge thank you to Hilda - she really is such a lovely lady.

You know something, Jeff and Jane and little dachshund Rolph, when you get visitors like you, renting out this property makes its all worth while. Your appreciation whilst you were here, the letter you left in the property, and your review here, is so gratefully received. So pleased you enjoyed it so much. Weather has been useless since, but pleased you had good weather to add to the property! Come again when you can fish legally!! Stay in touch. Hilda

“A peaceful, relaxing & comfortable get-away...”
Reviewed January 6, 2016 for a stay in December 2015

We stayed at Rainbow's End over the Christmas and New Year period and are eager to get back there as soon as possible!
Rainbow's End itself is very spacious and is well equipped with everything you need for a self catering break. As the accommodation only sleeps 2, it is ideal for couples and provides a comfortable stay with a cozy, homely feel.
Situated on the River Yare, this rental is ideal for those that enjoy fishing, however the scenery and calmness of the area would appeal to all.
All requirements are located close by, including a pub, restaurant, takeaways, village shop and train station. Also a good base location should you want to explore further afield.
Lastly, I cannot compliment the owner, Hilda, enough. She is very kind and accommodating and had the pleasure of meeting her during our stay. Because of this the whole booking process was made with ease.
Rainbow's End is highly recommended!

Nina.. it was great to have you stay, and to spend New Year there... even if it did mean myself and my partner having to walk home into the village on New Year's night!!!! So glad you enjoyed it, and look forward to seeing you again. Kindest regards, Hilda Taylor
