Description: From the cozy fireplace, to the intricate craftsman's work on the back bar, to the wooden pine floors, it says welcome. Or, as you will often see over thedoorways in Ireland, "Cead Mile Failte", meaning one hundred thousand welcomes. TP Hoolihans Irish Pub is located at 3448 Marinatown Lane in North Fort Myers, Florida. 400 yards west of US41 on the south side of Hancock Bridge Parkway. Look for the sign above for the entrance to the marina. By boat you'll find TP Hoolihans Irish Pub at Marinatown Yacht Harbour on a canal just off of Hancock Creek on the north shore of the Caloosahatchee River. Mile marker 138.5 on the Okeechobee Waterway.

They advertise their seafood, which is the best on the Marinatown Path, but I especially love their burgers and the "Club Pub", which is a chicken cutlet, but done up in a bun like a hamburger, with bacon and cheese, and whatever other burger fixin's you like! I get mushrooms and onions added. Great!!

I think they are closed Mondays until the snowbirds return.

The service was excellent. The drink prices were very low and a great value; My wife had two margaritas and she never has two margaritas. Large selection of domestic and imported draft choices at great prices. This reminds me of a pub one might find at the end of a pier in Boston where the fishing boats come in. Real and full of character. This ain't no franchise. Will be back.

We had Calamari appetizer that was ok but nothing special and then we shared the dorado tacos which was plenty of food for two for lunch. The tacos have one long piece of dorado per taco and they were excellent. Great view of the marina and the waiter was very attentive. We will be back.

This is really two restaurants in one. On the street side the sign says TP Hoolihan's, an authentic Irish pub (the bar was transported from Ireland and reassembled here). On the marina side is Dorado's Seafood Restaurant. They are connected and have easy access to one or the other whichever way you enter. Anyway....... We had drinks in Hoolihan's ($4 Harps) and after that I don't remember much. I would guess they share the same menu but the emphasis in Hoolihan's is on Irish beer. Irish whiskey, and Irish attitude. The guy next to me at the bar said he was tired of Irish stereotyping and as soon as he finished his beer he was going to get up an punch someone. After that we enjoyed a meal of mussels, a grouper sandwich, shrimp scampi, and fish and chips. With drinks the entire bill came to $110 for 4. The food was plentiful, tasty, and the service was laid back, but efficient. You may have a hard time finding this place in the Marinatown Yacht Harbour (aka Marinatown), but it's worth the trip.
