We were a bit worried about our wait time but they seated us much sooner than expected. We had a large table right by the window. I loved the shrimp sampler platter which had shrimp prepared four different ways, and the shrimp were extra large. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. The interior of the restaurant was very small and they have packed many tables in so it is a bit crowded inside. We just got lucky on a parking place outside but there were not enough for the crowds. Our only real complaint was that our food came out so fast we were done well before sunset! We sat outside on the picnic table and listened to the music until the amazing sunset.

We just returned from a week long stay on Captiva Island. It was our first trip and we decided to go down to the Mucky Duck (just 4 houses away!) on our first night there. It is just a little place with great outdoor seating where you can hang out with a drink and watch the view while you wait for your table. The food was really good, my husband and I each got the specials for the night. I had the Mahi with dill sauce and he had some sort of shrimp and lobster pasta dish. They were large portions and both were great! My son got the BBQ Bacon shrimp meal and it was delicious. We ended up eating here 2 nights of our stay and both times were very good! Highly recommended!

We drove to the north of the island to have a beer and some food in this English style pub.
The beer was nice and cool as expected although we did not expect the off hand greeting we received.
So we drank our beers and left without eating deciding to deposit our dollars in a friendlier place.
We noticed whilst sitting at the bar the less than friendly greeting everyone received. Definitely off putting as the lactation was nice not spectacular and the menu and food I saw served ok
No reason for this approach to customer service.
Will not go back.

Went specifically to watch sunset and decided to have dinner. Was not expecting much as the last time I went service was poor-?rushed. Last night Lindsay, our server, was knowledgeable and helpful. Oh, and the food was perfectly prepared and delicious. The three of us had Mahi with dill sauce (large portion), Duck Duck Shrimp (appetizer, but was enough for an entree), and chicken piccata (moist). Parking is tight and you'll have to wait, but it's worth it. Highly recommend.

We went to the Mucky Duck to see the sunset and just decided to eat there - not real excited because of the reviews. The wait was about an hour and a half and if we wanted to we could have just gotten appetizers to eat outside with no wait for the food, but I couldn't find anywhere to sit - so waited in the bar. The dinner was wonderful-all three of us agree. I had the chicken piccata Very mild piccata sauce. Very tasty. Served with a well prepared vegetable mix and your choice of various kinds of potatoes. The salad was wonderful. Lindsay our waiter suggested a combination of two dressings, a tomato cream and a bacon tasting dressing. It was really good. The rolls were good as well, with real butter. Another person had the appetizer duck duck shrimp, fried shrimp with a honey glaze - really good and for $9.95 a bargain. There must have been about 12 shrimp. My cousin had grilled mahi mahi with a dill sauce. It was a generous portion and it was delicious. Finally the dessert was to die for - a sour cream pie with blueberry topping. We were very pleasantly surprised and will definitely return. I highly recommend.
