I like the food. It is high quality and well prepared. it is creative at times and always fresh. That said, a hot dog and chips is $10. A burger is $15. Keep in mind it costs $550 and up to get a room, there is a per person, per day resort fee and food service is not available to the public. In other words, we spend $550/day to get a room, $16/day/person to be on the grounds, and then pay $10 for a hot dog.

What a great place for lunch. Great service. The chips and sauces are fantastic. Salsa was exceptional. Fish tacos were really good. Fried Grouper sandwich was a home run. Mojitos were really tasty if you like them

Good musician, but they put him right in frint of the dinner tables on the porch - too close. Food was GREAT! If music, ask to sit on lower patio.

The Pointe has servers pool side and what a delight!
Their Asian Chicken Salad is very good. The Buffalo Shrimp is
super and their Cheeseburger is served in Paradise. Chips
are fresh and plentiful, their tropical drinks are fun, their beer is ice cold, what a treat!

We ate here twice this visit to Captiva, it's incredibly overpriced - both food and drinks. We really had iffy service during both visits too. You will definitely receive better service if you sit next to the bar, but if you sit in the outer area next to the hostess stand, i'm afraid you will be forgotten at lunch time. I had to get up twice to get a refill on drinks, and second to share with our server (another server delivered our food) that my son's chips were broken into small pieces. The other server did get us another basket of chips after a long wait, when we were ready to close out our tab. We will not visit again unless a last resort and we do not want to leave the resort.
