My husband and I spent a wonderful overnight at Le Manoir du Menoux. Our hosts Marie Estelle and Philippe provided an excellent evening meal and a lovely French style breakfast. Marie is a fantastic cook and her home made walnut wine is delicious. We really enjoyed their company and chatted for ages over dinner.
Le Manoir du Menoux is not to be missed if you are travelling in the area. We will be back !

We stopped here for a night on our way back from the south and were delighted that we had made such a good choice. This is a superb 1920s house , beautifully maintained and set in a lovely village which is well worthy of exploration , particularly the church with its amazing painted walls and ceilings. Our hosts are a very welcoming & entertaining couple and Marie-Estelle is a great cook. The bedrooms were very comfortable and beautifully decorated and furnished. This is certainly one to return to!

We chose this interesting Chambre de Hote as it appeared to be far enough from autoroutes to be in nice countryside whilst being accessible after a long drive from the Luberon. It turned out to be a perfect choice. A beautiful house, or rather Manor House - with lovely grounds, secure parking and a very comfortable room with en suite bathroom. But there was a great bonus. We were offered an all inclusive dinner in the stylish dining room, preceded by a welcoming appero with the other guests. We all sat together - six of us including the owners - and had a very entertaining evening with delicious food. Many of the ingredients came from their own gardens.
After a sound sleep, we had another bonus - a great breakfast! We shall definitely try to return.

Room tip: We only saw our room - and it was at the top of the house. Very quiet with nice views. There is no lift, so not for the infirm!

We stopped here overnight on our way south with two teenage children. We had booked the Diane suite which is just lovely. Very spacious and immaculate with a huge bathroom shared with the twin room on our own little corridor. The house is set in a huge garden where we had the most delicious home cooked dinner en famille. We have since tried your pork dish but it just didn't taste as good as yours!!! A very relaxing continental breakfast in the dining room with home made preserves before wending our way south. A lovely warm atmosphere and such a charming couple. I would have no hesitation in recommending this B & B. And Argenton -Sur-Cruesse is a charming small town. Hope to be back some day!! Sophie & Jeremy Beswick ( Georgia & Oli)

Marie-Estelle greeted us and, after a brief chat, we were shown to our en suite bedroom. It was well appointed and immaculately clean - five star hotel standards. As we were going out for an early evening explore, M-E told us exactly where we should visit giving a lot of detail and history relating to the places. You must visit Gargelesse as a minimum. After our return and freshen up, we joined the other two families who were staying that night for an aperitif. This gave us all a chance to warm up before eating together at the "family dining table" for a splendid four course dinner. The wines and cheeses were local and all described fully by M-E. Throughout the meal, we got the full feel for all that was local as M-E is bright, interesting and full of information. We slept well in this quiet village near Argenton and then breakfasted, again with the other families. This is a gem and, as I understand it is now listed in Sawday's, it would be wise to book well in advance.
