“Curry Creek in FAB”

I have been here twice for dinner.
The place is unassuming from the outside but kind of cozy on the inside.
Quite small, only about 15 - 20 tables but has a nice 'feel'.
The one thing I DID notice was the amount of people coming in and out for Take Outs and to have a meal and that filled me with hope as I sat down for the first time.
People coming into the restaurant seemed to be known to the owners on a first name basis and the people coming in always spoke to the owners and new THEIR first names too.
Again a good sign in my book.
The food was really good and freshly cooked from what I could tell and had great flavours.
I really enjoyed this place and it's WELL worth a visit.

Good to great food in a small run down looking room. Menu has some Indonesian items but there is something for everyone. Try Dave's seafood pasta !

Starter was Chicken Sate - chewy & fried calamari very good.
Entrée's Beef Rendang asked for extra spicy and was quite pleasant, not as spicy as you would get in Thailand but nice. Spicy eggplant with chicken unfortunately again the chicken was way over cooked and chewy. Would we try again yes but stay clear of the chicken

“Curry Creek rates highest”

We've been to Curry Creek 7 times over the past two months, joined by friends and family for group totals of up to seven. Select any item on the menu, you will be impressed. The many seafood items, and plenty of it, are the areas very best. Neither we nor any of our guests were disappointed in the slightest. Don't miss the stew, or for that matter, try all dishes over a period of time. Additionally, the staff of this small, family-owned restaurant is impressive. The owner-chef, wife, son, and newest wait person offer friendliness and high competence. Don't miss this restaurant.

“You're going to be pleasantly surprised - it's that good”

This is a sleeper....probably not the type of restaurant you'd stop at just driving by looking at the outside....but those that do stop get a real treat: a very interesting menu and a wonderful meal. We've eaten there a few times and whether we order American or Asian, the meal has been terrific. Warning, based on their hotness scale, 2 peppers is pretty hot, you better really think before you order the eggplant which is three peppers hot. They also offer wine and beer. Highly recommended....hint: try it for lunch when it's less crowded.
