“Fun by the Bridge”
Reviewed March 27, 2014

We have been to Pelican Alley 3 times in the last month. We just can't get enough of the Seafood Nachos. It's not like anything my wife or I have ever had and simply fantastic. We have loved them so much we can't seem to bring ourselves to order anything else on the menu. Today we broke down and had the chowder topped with puff pastry and their lobster sauce. Unbelievable! The deck is right next to the water and below a bridge. If there are fishermen in the channel you can talk to them, they are only 10 feet away. The service has always been great and one of the owners, Renee, waited on us today. She was a delight as were the other waitresses we have met there. Catch the music on Friday night if you can. You will need reservations on Friday night. Make them early in the week.

“Best chowder ever!”
Reviewed March 20, 2014 via mobile

Been there several times. Mostly just for Friday nite live entertainment which it's good and very fun. Someone recommended the chowder so we decided to try it. Oh my, probably the best chowder we've ever had, and we've had it all over the Pacific northwest. Highly recommend. The food here is very good. The place is not much to look at, but it's a great little spot right on the water and the staff is great and very friendly. Worth your while to try it!

“Really poor food & service/good location”
Reviewed March 14, 2014 via mobile

This must be one of the worst managed intercostal water front resturants in central Flordia. The Grouper is the worst, the fries are "day old"...just plain bad. And for goodness sakes DO NOT complain..you will get ridiculed by owner. There are much, much better places within walking distance.
