“Low Key facility, excellent grouper sandwich”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

My wife's cousin and her husband took us to this venue right on the water. The restaurant has a boat dock where boaters can tie up and use the restaurant. My wife and I chose the grouper special which was excellent!! The service was good and very pleasant. The facilities are not fancy but the venue meets our criterion: a hole in the wall with excellent food.

“Casual dining on the water”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

Good food, great service at a reasonable price. We have been many times and never disappointed. The grouper is the best along with the oysters and chowder. The booths by the windows are fun to watch the boats and birds on the water.

This restaurant had good food and good customer service. It does close earlier than what we are used to, so keep that in mind.

“Pelicans alley”
Reviewed December 23, 2012

The "REAL" Groper sandwich on a toasted bun with onions and cheese is the best! After many years of patronage from the time it was called Admerials ward room until today. We still love to sit by the window and watch the boats go by on the inlandcoastal waterway. . Do yourself a flavor treat and try a Florida favorite. Try Pelecan Alley Just a little south of Sarasota. YUM YUM!

“Food and Nitelife in Nokomis”
Reviewed December 10, 2012

Just at the drawbridge going over to Casey Key, Pelican Alley sits on the Intercoastal waterway. A great local bar and grill, it speicializes in Florida cuisine, along with Mediterannean. Daily specials are available, but the burger and fried seafood are my choices. A full bar and lively patrons make it a fun place - daylight or dark.
