That pretty much says it all. The food here is relatively inexpensive and of average quality at best, not bad and better than some other restaurants in the area, but not really special. The place is always packed and the service can be very slow as a result. If there is a large group in one of their private rooms, you could be waiting at the table a long time for your meal. Its a small kitchen. Another reviewer mentioned seeing the hostess eating from plates before they were served and I don't know if this was the same person but we saw a female employee, not dressed as waitstaff, who stood just outside the kitchen area and seemed to be in charge somehow. We witnessed her sprinkling freshly grated parmesan cheese onto dishes leaving the kitchen with her bare hand and she was not wearing food handler gloves as the kitchen staff were. We were shocked enough to watch her and noticed she then touched items that were decidedly unsanitary. I doubt we'll go back. That was highly troubling in the middle of a flu epidemic.
