My supervisor suggested going here for my graduation dinner party, and since my mother and I couldn't decide on anywhere else in Gainesville (because it's slim pickings, let me tell you!), we decided to go for it despite never eating there before.
We were a pretty big party and they were EXTREMELY kind, friendly, and accommodating! My friends, family, and myself are quite a rowdy bunch, and they definitely went along with our craziness and we loved every moment of it. I kept getting calls and texts over the next few days from the party guests over how incredible the food and service was. They definitely gained some new followers!
Now onto the food. Amazing. We ordered a bunch of stuff; all of the different kinds of sliders, the duck mole, the cheese-fillled pasta things (forgot what they were called, but ask for them, they're amazing!), tostadas....I picked and chose what looked the most appetizing, and was not disappointed AT ALL! Everything was incredible. Honestly. I'm a foody and I know what's up, and it was heart to not hog all of the beautifully designed plates and just eat it all myself.
Which leads me to my next point; it's a tapas! The food is meant and designed to be shared. So definitely order more than one plate if you can; it's a perfect opportunity to experiment a little, because your taste buds will thank you for the adventure.
The atmosphere is also incredible; extremely modern and chic. If you're looking for something not as hip, modern, and new as can be, then go back to your typical place for dinner and eat the same old crude that you're used to. But if you want to explore a little in a place with the coolest chairs, plates, and food in the whole damn city, then give this place a shot. And last little quick tip: the Sangria is INCREDIBLE!
