We dined at Norwoods for the 2nd time with friends visiting from Colorado Springs. As it was Biker Week in Daytona Beach I called ahead for reservations. They don't take them but will put you on a preferred customer list. The time was 6:15pm and we got right in. The restaurant was crowded but the noise level is such that you can talk and hear without any trouble. Our attendant was quick and efficient. My wife had a the house Pinot Noire saying it was quite satisfactory. I had my usual diet Coke.
For dinner I had the Mahi Mahi Parmesan. It was crusty and flaky with a more than adequate serving. My wife had the scallops. She was assured that they the larger ocean scallops and not the teeny bay scallops. They came in between. Not large but not teeny, maybe baby ocean scallops. Anyway she said they were cooked well and were good.
It was a non hurry atmosphere and we had pleasant dining and conversation.
The overall experience was good and we will certainly return. The only real cretique was the sixre of the scallops.
