“A beachside "must stop"”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 7, 2014

P J's does not look fancy, but it is clean. The staff is always friendly and honest. The food specials are great as well.Try the fish and chips on Monday or the lobster on Thursday. Very social happy hour at their bar with many "snowbirds" comparing notes. I enjoy it there.

Nice setup but you get the regular fried battered seafood that you get at this kind of seafood restaurant .

“Nautical Ambiance Awesome”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 1, 2014

Are you into fishing? Old time nautical instruments? PJ's Sea Shack is a must stop while visiting New Smyrna Beach. Our group of four made it in time for the Early Bird (great menu) and Happy Hour! Three of us had the Grilled Salmon...tasty and just enough. Sweet potatoe fries is certainly a plus for PJ's, one of the few eateries offering them. Our other guest had steak which came out too rare for her liking, but the staff took it back and it came out beautifully the second time around. To top off the meal, the Key Lime pie is among the best tried so far....tangy and a great graham cracker crust. Our waitress, Jess, was more than willing to give us just what we wanted...and with a smile! Can't go wrong at PJ's. Oh, they also have an "all-you-can-eat" pizza night on Tuesdays for $8.95...what a deal!

“Great lobster Mac and cheese”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 26, 2014 via mobile

Visited on a busy Sat night so waited for 15 minutes or so for a table. The host used the old fashioned way to find the customer when the table was ready-by remembering what we looked like. Singer in bar was ok and added to the atmosphere. Appetizer ordered was the spinach artichoke and it was a little too much cheese. Pizza was cooked in a brick oven was good and my spouse ordered the Lobster Mac and cheese as recommended by the waitress and it was excellent.

“Wish I had the time to repeat the visit.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 26, 2014

We just happened upon this restaurant as were heading to the races at New Smyrna Raceway. It was easy to find right on route 44, the staff were very nice, and the food was great. Their garlic bread is to die for, but be careful and don't fill up on it. The portions were generous and the atmosphere is neat. If your in the Daytona area, it is worth the drive. Not too far, about 20 minutes south.
